Five Seconds Game

Listen, I've been sort of annoyed recently with people snapping at each other, the Debate Thread, etc. etc. I think we need to do something to sort of bring this down. For one - create new threads - or top new threads - on CaC. Secondly, this game. Here's how it works:

1. You can read all the comments you want without a time limit. Make sure to read the last comment and don't post until the last comment has shown up.

2. Once you hit the button to reply to the last comment, you get five seconds to think up a comment. Usually, it would be 5 seconds to write it, but for many people, it can be difficult to think and type that fast.

3. Enter the fields, as usual, CAPTCHA, etc. and submit.

The point of this game? Make sure each comment is a compliment to the person above. It is like a compliment thread but allows all participants to feel as if they are appreciated. It is encouraged that everyone participates, even if it is only once or so. Hope this gives you a boost to your day!

Example:

CBer 1: (First person to posts leaves a general comment as in:) Hello everyone. Ready to begin?

CBer 2: CBer1, you are an extremely talented artist!

CBer 2: CBer2, I love the fact that you are so compassionate about others.

CBer 3: CBer3, you have always made my day brighter with your cheerful attitude on the CB. 

This is the general concept. Try and make everyone's day better with compliments, and especially try to show one that the person feels they don't have. Give them more self-confidence and support. Again, ONLY compliments, and make sure the last comment has posted. You are allowed to reply and say thank you to comments, which don't count as in-game activity (meaning no 5 second timer).

Comment 1 to start off: Let's get this game started! The next person to reply will be a compliment to me. This is just a general starting post since I have no one to give compliments to yet. So. Let us begin making days brighter.
