I was searching

I was searching Hèmǐn's book bag and found this fanfic! I'll read it aloud.
"It was a rather rainy day, both figuratively and literally. That is, until I met 8-Piece. 
I was waiting for the bus, three books under my shoulder. I was feeling rather tired. Fúdìmó had "accidentally" pushed one of my books onto Xiǎo tùzǐ, who had gotten extremely injured. I had just dropped her off at the vet, since Mei was out for the day, and was feeling quite angry at Fúdìmó. I couldn't even go yell at him, since he was off plotting something with MewFour.
Lost in my thoughts, I absentmindedly dropped my books. Sighing, I bent down to pick them up.
I scooped up two, but as I reached for the last one,  a tan hand reached for it and handed it to me.
"Thanks," I took it from him and stood up.
"No prob!" He replied. "What's your name?"
"Hèmǐn. I'm Mei's Æ! What's yours?"
"8-Piece. Oh! I've seen you! Probably because of MewFour. He's at Mei's a lot, to plan evil things with Fúdìmó. Nice to meet you!" 
I smiled back. Maybe this day wasn't so bad after all!
"Did you know that Sharks bite roughly 70 people each year worldwide?"
"I think that I read that somewhere in my marine biology book! Did you know that Antarctica has as much ice as the Atlantic Ocean has water?"
"Yeah!"
And just like that, we became friends.
But I realized that I had a crush on him.
A huge one.
And he did, too.
He never admitted it. But he would hint. The way he looked at me…Like more than just a friend. And we also talked. A lot.
One day, when Mei and I went to Cloud's place to go pick up Fúdìmó, 8-Piece pulled me aside.
"Do you want to go out?"
~~~
I wish this would happen! Oh, I wish…"
Hèmǐn: MEI!!! *Turns bright red* Do not finish reading that. No matter what.
Mei-xue: See you guys later, then! And don't worry, stay tuned! I'll get rid of Hèmǐn and finish reading it for you guys.
Hèmǐn: You wouldn't dare.

Hèmǐn's trying to fix her wand after MewFour broke it, so I have some time to continue what she wrote!!!
"My POV~~
My mouth dropped open as my heart did a little dance. I swear, if it weren't for the laws of nature, I'd start flying up into the sky with happiness. 
8-Piece asked me out!!!!! 
YES! YES! YES!
Of course, I was going to say so. Of courseeeeee!!!!!
Maybe we would even…You know!!! Make out!!!
But wait! Was that movement? Was that Fúdìmó peering out at us from behind a corner?
I decided to ignore him.
I should not have.
As I opened my mouth to say yes, a flash of yellow-green light hit me. A floating sensation filled my mind as every thought and worry was gently wiped away. I stood there feeling extremely relaxed, only dimly aware of my crush standing in front of me.
"…Say no…Say no…" A voice in my head murmured to me. "…Say no…"'""
Oh, no! Hèmǐn's back! Got to go!!
She's really mad…
