Wow, you're really good at these! My favorite one is the girl named Katie. 

Is there a certain way you draw the wings?

Thank you Joan! There really isn't a certain way I do it. It helped me a lot to look at my chicken's wings to see the feathers. I looked up 'How to draw wings' online and the second link helped a lot, mostly with the part about Bob the bird, which showed a cartoon bird in flight in slo-mo. This helped me position my wings. When I'm doing a gesture drawing I draw the basic shape of the wings coming out of the backbone. It can be hard to get the wings in the right place because it is actually imposible for any orgonism with a skeleton to have two joints coming out of the same place. When I actually get around to drawing the wings I draw the shape I want the wings to have, then feather them.
