Once upon a time, in a far-off kingdom known as the CB, there was an incredibly amazing SI going on. And there was a certain CBer who happened to be playing the Narrator in a school production of Into the Woods, so he/she (not saying which!) decided to enter the SI as the Narrator. Because that's totally a legitimate character. Not meta at all. Yeah. Totally.
