Phobias. Does anyone
Phobias. Does anyone know what phobias they have? I have at least five, but maybe I have more. I just didn't feel like looking down this GIGANTIC list of about 2000 phobias.
I have:

I have probably over 100 phobias and I'm not kidding.
Emma, a very wise friend said to me once: "Most of the things we worry about don't happen." Think about that! And talk about your fear with your family. They can help you feel better.

My favorite Bible verse is somewhere in Matthew 6 (I think it's 6:25, maybe) is "Who of you, by worrying, can add a single hour to his life?"
And then, there's always advice Jamacain reggae singers....
"Don't worry! Be happy! Because when you frown, you put other down, don't worry! Be happy!"
"Don't worry about a thing! 'Cause every little thing is gonna be alright!"

I *would* say, oh lucky me, I don't have any phobias... except um, well...
I don't have any that I know of, let's put it that way, at least not under the definition of a phobia, which is an intense, irrational fear. I'm sort of afraid of heights, but when I think about it, I'm actually just afraid of falling. Which I don't ever do. Nuh-uh. Bad idea.

I'm incredibly claustrophobic, and I am also afraid..though not quite phobic...of wasps and fire.
(March 24, 2009 - 6:26 pm)
I'm afraid of fire too.

I know this sounds little kiddish but I am sort of afraid of the dark. If I have somebody with e I am fine and it's not like I can't go in the dark I'm just a wee bit scared!
(March 25, 2009 - 6:02 am)
That's not little kiddish! The dark is sorta scary.
(March 25, 2009 - 10:36 am)
I agree with Lena, thats not kiddish! But to me, the dark isn't too scary. I can't sleep with my window open, the door to the hallway open, or the door to the sunporch open! hehe! :D:D:D oh, and sometimes, my clock is too bright!!!! So I drape a blanket over it. :D

I also have a fear of vomiting. And I sort of have a fear of being upside down, espcially underwater. (So I can't do flips in the water, and I'm still trying to work up the courage to do a flip on my friend's trampoline.)
(March 25, 2009 - 11:02 am)
You can't do flips in the water??? I can't even swim!!!
(March 25, 2009 - 3:10 pm)
Don't despair. I couldn't swim till I was 10. And I couldn't swim WELL until last summer. You'll learn eventually.

That's not little kiddish!!!!! I actually sort of am, too! :):) I found ways for it to work, though, like I hung up LED Christmas lights that look more jungly than Christmas, so it matches my room, and LED lights never die, and have a small chance of catching on fire, so they're safe to leave on 24 hours!! :):):) That was a loooooong sentence. :):)
