I feel bad.

I feel bad. Reall, really bad. I know its not my fault, but I still feel terrible. Ever since I joined on April eleventh, people have been leaving. Danie's gone, and now Brookeira is, too. I'm sure many others have left as well. Maybe I should leave... I never had a best friend here, anyway.*Walks out door sadly*

OKay, listen.

As an older CBer who "left" (I've been in and out), I have seen a lot of younger and newer CBers coming in around the time that other older CBers have left, and then thinking that they (individually or as a group of new CBers) are the reason that the others are leaving. This happened like last year when the Fantasy Crowd Sourcing story thingy ran in Cricket mag, bringing more people to the CB, and then again when the whole Alter Ego war/debate/drama happened.

Well, a lot of people (including me) left because they couldn't handle the drama over the alter egos, and all the fretting about "oh we should do this, we should do that, we should make new rules for alter egos, etc." I personally just decided to take a break until it all blew over, cuz all drama quiets down eventually.

BUT there are so many other reasons why people might be leaving! espcially if they leave without a big ol dramatic goodbye, you never know!

Some of us feel that we're getting too old for the CB. Some people might be too busy with school or other activities they have IRL. And even if they did leave because the Chatterbox changed, think of it this way:

The Chatterbox isn't gonna stay the same way forever. There will always be some stuff that stays the same, but there will always be change. That includes people leaving, too! If you don't like the change, sure, you can leave, because it's gonna be pretty darn hard to change the Chatterbox back to the way it was months ago. That's what they did! They left! Think of it like this: they were making room for you guys, the new CBers. Maybe they just didn't want to cramp your style. Have fun! Don't be sad!

 

(OK but seriously ignore me because I haven't been on in 4ever & I don't know what's going on around here, I just know that people were saying the same thing as you, Blank, the last time I was here. It's cool, don't worry, no one hates you and if they do they don't belong here.)

Hey, I definitely know how you feel, Blank. So many people have been leaving, and I feel the same way as you do. But, I knew that the CB still needed me and all the other CBers. That includes you too, and I hope that you come to understand this, and find your own place in the CB.
