Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

I was wondering

I was wondering if anyone else collects Cricket magazines. If so, how far back does your collection go? I save mine after reading them and I have May/June 2014-July/August 2015 and I'm only missing one issue.

I started collecting them in January 2013 and have colleced them since then. I'm missing one I think because my dog ate it.

My sister also read cricket when she was younger, and still does occasionly. She has one that is from 2007 I think.

I don't collect them, just keep them all. (although I'll soon be fighting with my mom so that I can keep them....)

Yeah, I guess mine isn't really a collection, but I save every mag. I think it will be really cool to read all of the ones I've saved someday when I don't get Cricket anymore. Then again, maybe I will never stop getting Cricket. I also think it would be fun someday when I have kids to dig them out from wherever they are (the mags, not the kids) and show them that I have magazines from 2014-15! Which will of course seem like such a long time ago.

I (well, my whole family technically, since we get the magazines for all of us) keep all the Cricket (and Muse!) magazines we get. I think the first one we got is from 2013? I'm not really sure, because it's not very organized! Unfortunately, we keep forgetting to renew our subscription so we're missing some. We've missed the last couple of issues because of forgetting to renew, and I'm really annoyed about that because I didn't get to read the rest of Fable's story! I really really hope we can renew the subscription and get back-issues soon, because I'm running out of Cricket magazines to reread!

PP, you can read all the parts of Fable's story, "The Girl Who Writes the Future," here:

I have the same problem! My grandma has paid for my subscription, (Yeah Gramms!) and I forgot to tell her I wanted it renewed. Can I order old editions?
