Cricket started in September 1973. There was a pilot issue dated January 1973.

Admin, could you add a search in the CB? It would make it easier to find stuff.
We know it would be great to have a search function. It's been suggested before. But it's not possible, at least not right now. You can do a google search. In the google search box, type:
site:cricketmagkids.com word you want to find
After the com insert a space then the exact words you want to find. Good luck.

3. Are you depressed because Blue bell ice cream stopped selling for.... uh.... a really long time? (Too long, for my taste.)
Yes, at least some of us have kids.
No, we haven't each seen both of the others. One of us has seen both, and two of us have seen one.
I've never had Blue Bell ice cream that I know of, so I don't miss it. I DO, however, miss Starbucks Mocha Chip. As far as I've been able to learn, Starbucks does not make any ice cream now.

I always pictured you guys sitting in an office together typing away on computers, talking to each other, and showing each other people's posts when you liked them. It seems weird that some of you haven't met each other.
Two work in the same office. One works from home about 100 miles away. We do communicate frequently by email.

As a matter of fact, I have a question.
I posted a new RP on the Inkwell. It was the first RP I have ever created. It was called Huckleberry Road, I believe, and you guys didn't post it. I tried the Google search method, and I still could not find it. Why? Sorry if this sounds whiny or rude.
I don't remember it at all. Please submit it again.

When is the Chatterbox's anniversary. Could we maybe plan something? Like an...insta-chat or whatnot around noon? (Your time) I think that would be really cool!!
I think Chatterbox went live in August 2008, but I'm not sure about planning an instant chat. It's hard for us to specify in advance exactly what time on any given day we'll be able to post comments.

Um, so, I think it was Indigo who brought up the idea of a Chatterbox Summer Camp. Admins, in all honesty, do you think it really could happen someday?
In all honesty . . . no. I'm sorry. It sounds like fun. But our business is publishing magazines. Camping is a whole different "animule," as my dear old Latin teacher used to say.

Hey Admins, I have been having this idea where we could have a kind of Cricket convention. But then I realized that we all live in different states, and even other countries. Though I would love to meet other CBers. Any suggestions on how to do that?
