Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Hey, Cricket, I have something to tell you! Well, today (Tuesday) and Wednesday are Florida's standarized tests, called the FCAT (Florida Comprehensive Assesment Test. And don't ask me why they decided to do it right after Daylight Savings Time when everyone is still asleep in first period. Humph.) Anyway, today was the reading test, and there was a really interesting story called "No Crosswords Allowed." I just happened to look at the copyrite thing (because they give you an hour for a test that takes fifteen minutes, and I was bored out of my skull) and I saw that the article had come from a 2000 Cricket issue! Do you remember that article at all? I liked it. Nomally they give us crummy stories to read and answer questions on, but the crossword one was really cool, and informative, too.

Allison, I'd have to look at a bit of the story, then I'd remember it. I'm just not sure from only the title. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for telling us!
