WHO WROTE A THREAD ANNOUNCING BROOKERIA WAS LEAVING UNDER HER NAME THAT WASN'T HER?!?!?!?! IT IS NOT FUNNY TO IMPERSONATE PEOPLE!!!! IT IS RUDE AND OFFENSIVE!!!! WHOEVER DID THAT, OWN UP AND DON'T BE SCARED OF BEING PUNISHED BECAUSE A) WE'RE ALL NICE AND B) THIS YELLING AT YOU IS ENOUGH!!!!

Could you please stop yelling? We all understand about impersonations. I agree we should stop, but we don't have to yell to make our point. I do want to know who did that though...

And, do you know where that thread is? I can't find it.

I've had this problem too. It's very strange - I don't think anyone here would do that. Everyone on the CB is a very nice person, and I can't envision anyone impersonating someone else with malicious intent.

Appearance~ Ooh, good question, me, um.,... well.... he's.... a ghost......

Other~ So once upon a time there was a guy who wanted to create a website-i-o like cb, and then the amazingly clever and good admins had the same idea. They didn't know Mr. Meanie Beanie had the idea first and made the website. It was super-duper awesome and cool cool cool, and Mr. Meanie Beanie didn't like it. So he impersonated the nice amazing smart and beautiful people on cb and did meanie beanie things like...... things.... idk but he was mean. Now he is a ghosty and impersonated our nice innocent Brookeira. FIGHT THE GHOST!

I'm sorry to say this, but it's a might horrible form of bullying. The person probably did it because it made the person feel 'good' about themselves. And it's not cool.

Internet is the most common type of bullying, and causes many teenagers harm. I really hope this stops. It's not funny or nice. Please, whoever did this, tell us! I know it's hard, but you'll feel better once you did it. I have had the same experience with Squeak, and it was much easier once I posted the thread.

But of course, if you're the type of really horrid bullying, then you won't tell us.

Thank you for telling us, Geek Girl, if this really is from you. It's brave of you to speak up. You see, Admin has no way of telling who is really submitting a comment. The spirit of Cricket and Chatterbox should be fun, but also honesty and respect. Putting words in someone else's mouth is not what we want to happen.

I forgive you, Geek Girl. It made me feel horrible because all of these people were saying that "I" shouldn't leave.

 

I do understand how mad you must have been, Brookeira, but it should have also made you feel good to hear that others wanted you to stay.

Yes Air, it was. Though, I did NOT write as Geek Girl. 

I'm really, rally, REALLY sorry. I didn't mean it. I can't... I don't know. I remember doing it, but almost as if it were a dream. I did not write Brooke was leaving my... I don't know what to call it... (Real Alter Ego? [Who is extreamly mean, and pops up sometimes to control me}]) did. I'm sorry.

This sounds really weird. Sorry...

I just want to affirm that what Winter Firefly said up there ^ is true, I affirmed it off CB in case anyone is paranoid (which I have to say, since Geek Girl still was impersonated by someone we don't know yet, is not totally out of the question).

Thank you Winter for saying that. It was brave, for telling us. I'm glad you did.

That never was me who said I was the impersonater; someone must have been impersonating me saying I did that plus to show I am the real Geek Girl I will say which are my alter egos: grumpy Katniss and dragon girl. I never did impersonate anyone so whoever said I did it and impersonated me: it is not nice to blame me for something I didn't do. Admin can you really consider passwords plus, I don't write sentences like that. This Is The Real Geek Girl!

 

Passwords would really slow things down. We just hope our readers will be honest.
