SAVE THE CB!!
Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket
SAVE THE CB!!
SAVE THE CB!!
I know there's been some tension on the Chatterbox, but honestly? This is pretty stupid. Why are we like this? Everyone should feel welcome. That's why I've made this Thread.
I'm asking for help to save the CB! Without new posts, I'm afraid this place will get deserted.
So on a lighter note, let's post anything! Blab about Books, Chirp at Cricket, This Month, Pudding's Place, Down to Earth, and the Inkwell are all in need!
Let's do this thing, everyone!

She is right. There is tension here. No, we aren't waiting for anything big. It is just tense. There are two crowds, and they need to accept each other and merge. Guys, its no big deal. Invite people to come. as they say, the more the merrier. (okay... I know small groups are fun. But big ones are too!) There is a pretty big age gap, but we can handle it. We got this!

Two crowds? (I hope you don't mean "Newbies" and "Oldies" *Looks at Magic Dragon suspiciously*)

There's been tension while I've been gone? Um... why may I ask?
And newcomers, if you're reading this, just please know you're welcome here!

Hard to explain... Let's just put it this way: The newbies don't feel very welcome here. Brookeira posted a thread saying she was thinking about leaving. She said that when a new CBer makes an RP, no old CBers join. I kind of disagree. I only join based on the plot. Anyway, I think we need to stop the distinction between "new" CBers and "old" CBers.
Agreed!

There are two threads kind of explaining this, one by Everinne which started out as old CBers reminiscing about the ones who left and Brookeira's one asking if anybody cared if she left. Which we all did. I'll try to sum it up for you.
I'll try to remain unbiased, since, in my opinion, I'm bordering the line between oldie and newbie and this is not meant to be any offense.
Everinne's thread began as older CBers talking about the people who just disappeared. Some of them were kind of thinking about how the CB was in the old days and just basically looking back at the old days. A newbie or two kind of took it the wrong way and got a little mad and asked if they just wanted it back the old way, basically. Which I can totally get.
So it slowly erupted into the newbies telling the oldies that they didn't feel accepted anymore. Which is how Brooke's Inkwell thread started. The oldies explained that they didn't mean any offense, that it was just a huge change with so may people. Which is true.
There's also the subject of the RPs. This was another argument on Everinne's thread. The newbies feel that the oldies don't join the newbie RPs because they don't like them. I believe Squeak even said that the oldies will never treat the newbies as equals. It does seem that the oldies don't join many newbie RPs, but that, as they explained, it'd because they only have time to join a few.
I have heightened the most dramatic points. Because that's how I am, unfortunatly. I don't have any time to reread this, but I didn't mean any offense. I swear. So that's what's been happening. It's really unfortunate, because we all are CBers at core, adn we all are together.
I completely agree with Violet.

Don't worry about it. Who cares. What we need to is step up our game.

@Moss
There has been tension while you were gone. Mainly on this thread (which started it all): http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/downtoearth/node/147129
