My name is Red, and I'm one of the few guys that hang around here. There's four of us right now, I think, which is a pretty high number. I like to read, occasionally write, draw, and play video games. I'm always here for chatting about anything from life problems to the silly things you think of at three a.m., so don't be afraid to talk to me.

For interesting things to do on the Chatterbox, we have a great number of RPs or roleplays right now. In an RP, you control a character and you write a part of a story from the viewpoint of your character. Other people will write other parts and you can all take turns building the story. We have a HypQuests thread on Inkwell where someone (usually Joe) posts hypothetical situations that are often silly and weird and you say what you would do in that situation. There might be an Instant Chat coming up at some point. An Instant Chat is where an Admin is online at a predetermined time and can post messages quickly for an hour or two, so Chatterboxers can chat with each other quickly. There's a Character Cafe, which is basically you roleplay as a character and interact with other characters from other books/movies/etc. There are a couple games where someone posts a book or movie quote and others have to guess where it's from. The last game that I think is being played right now is the Ski Lodge Murder Mystery. It's on the "Day 0" thread in Pudding's Place. The Murder Mystery is kind of a "whodunit". Out of all the people who sign up, one person is randomly picked to be the murderer... and it's everyone else's job to figure out who that person is! Meanwhile, someone new is dying each day in the very, very silly story being written by The Omnipotent Narrator. I can't describe it well enough to give it justice -- but it's designed to be silly, a little weird, and completely illogical. I'm pretty sure those are the only games being played right now, but hopefully you should get an idea of Chatterbox life from this. Welcome to the Chatterbox! We're all looking forward to seeing what great contributions you're going to make!

As for me, I prefer Ellie. Easier to remember. But do what you like.

My name is Nina, and I am twelve years old. I'm a strong Catholic, and in addition, I love reading, writing, watching movies, swimming, riding outside, playing the piano, hanging out with friends... what twelve year old girls love to do! Art is my biggest passion and a huge part of my life. I draw every day! I'm also going to start writing my first full novel.

Hi, Ellie! I see you have met quite a few CBers by now. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. I remember that when I joined back in January or February of this year, I was a little shy at first. But everyone was so kind and warm and welcoming, so I soon felt right at home here. To me, the CB is like a family, with the Admins as our guardians, watching over us, and making sure we behave. ;P

I personally prefer Ellie to CrazyLyricsX. Partly because Ellie is easier to remember, partly because I already know you as Ellie. But you make the executive decision. This is just my personal opinion. \

Hello Ellie! I'm also quite new here, and I've never been on the online chat before. I've got to admit, I'm a little bit terrified, but excited to meet everyone as well. I just posted under the sidekicks thing, so of course I had to explore this site for a bit... Please read mine, it should be under my name! Also I think that Bianca R's was quite good, as well as some of the others. Just a quick question? Who is Katniss Everdeen? When I first got here ( to the US... I'm from Great Britian) all my mates began calling me Katniss, and I can really figure out why? I've been told she was the main character in the hunger games, which was a big thing in London about two years ago, but still... Explain. Anyways... rabbit trail there. I have always adored writing, so excuse my newness and my Britishness (at least you don't have to put up with the accent)  and please introduce yourself if you have the time! Thanks again and plz don't hate me for this ridiculous introduction. And Ellie, please us the name Ellie! It's quite lovely and much simpler than the other one...

Hi Ellie, I'm Ivy! About me: I am a Merlinian, a Whovian, a Potterhead, and a Oncer, which means that I LOVE Merlin, Doctor Who, Harry Potter and Once Upon a Time.  My other favorite books and authors besides Harry Potter are Rick Riordan, Shannon Hale, Michael Scott, Jessica Day George, Diane Stanley, Anne of Green Gables, The False Prince series, and way too many more to list! I am a dancer. I do ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary.I'm homeschooled. I love cats; I have two named Mouse and Annabeth (but we call her baby because she's so small). I also love to read (obviously), write, sing, climb things, and Rubik's cube.
