An Important Request For All Of You

So hey, it's Corina here. I'd like to talk about spoiler alerts here because I read a pretty bad spoiler on here in one of the last few days. I'm not going to say what it was or who wrote it, because I don't want to land blame and start an argument. It made me really sad and I'm hoping it won't happen again, which is why I'm writing the post.

You see, when you read a post, your eyes sometimes move quite fast. And so spoiler alerts that work like this: *spoiler*[insert spoiler] don't work because your eyes just mov right over the alert and onto the spoiler itself.

Therefore, I'd like to ask everyone to write their spoiler alerts like this:

*spoiler for so and so*

-

-

[insert spoiler]

Like that, no one will read them by accident. Also, please write what the spoiler is for. It's fairly easy to do and a very nice thing also. The '-'s can be anything, exclamation points, dashes, period, it really doesn't matter, so as it makes a barrior between the alert and actual spoiler. On NaNo, we have a strict rule to do them like that and I'd really like it if we made it habit here too.
