Cricketer Awards!

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Cricketer Awards!

Cricketer Awards!

I had a bit of a lightbulb the other day and thought that maybe I'd create something that I don't believe anyone has done yet (at least, not since I first came to the Chatterbox two years ago).

And this idea is to show our appreciation to our fellow Cricketers (or Chatterboxers, but the former sounds better) by presenting them with a token of it. There will be three to start with, but more can be added on—

The Everybuggy Award for All-Around Likeability (cheerfulness, supportiveness, etc.)

The Inkwell Cup for Literary Ability and Creativity (RPs, Hypquests and the like)

The Bookworm Prize for Exceptional Bookworms (diversity in material read and insightful critisicm)

We will vote to award these prizes once a week; no same person can win the same award twice, but, of course, they can win different awards at separate times. Whoever has the most votes at the end of the week (Sunday) will win the prize for that week. I will not nominate anyone yet, as this idea may be disliked, but if it is well received, I'll post my nominees later!

Gosh, thanks!

I agree that TNO should win the All-Around Likeability.

First things first: Everybuggy Award for All-Around Likeability: Melody

Inkwell Cup for Literary Ability etc.: TNO

The Bookworm Prize for Exceptional Bookworms: Everinne

Second things second: Thank you everyone for The Bookworm Prize for Exceptional Bookworms.  (Side note: I am recreating this from something I wrote on Tuesday.  You'll see why.)  I wear it with pride.  Providing that I can actually wear it.  *places nearby book on head.*  This is a common sight, me putting books on my head.  *raises screen so can continue to see what am typing with the book on said head.*  *monitor promptly turns off, and won't turn back on.*

Hence, the computer was rendered useless for the rest of the day and I couldn't finish my comment.  Might that be too much of a good thing?  No.  It was an opportunity to read.

Haha very interesting story :D

I think we should add more awards, like for drawing

or most funny writer/commenter.

I would like to nominate Blonde Heroines Rule for the Everybuggy Award. I don't have any nominess for the Inkwell Cup or the Bookworm Prize as I am unsure who to nominate. But, if I do come up with someone, I'll post the nominees as soon as I can!

I agree that an Artist Award for creativity should be given, and a Comical Cup (a name I made up) for the funniest Chatterboxer should be awarded as well. I think the selections for awards would be more diverse and we can award more people if we add these awards.

Drawing- I really can't decide between SC or TNÖ. Can I nominate both?

Ive got an idea for an award!  The Actor Award! For those who love acting and performing ;)
If it gets put in, I nominate Ivy.

I do live in Ruby's body sometimes and I was born from Ruby, but we consider ourselves to be separate people. We have vastly different thoughts and feelings, so I would prefer it if you guys would count us as each of our own individuals.

Red I just noticed your location. Somewhat rude, but also very clever.

I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to be rude. If I'm responding to someone, I just like negating their location. If people say "Dark Places" I say "Light Places", if they say "Everywhere" I say "Nowhere".
