Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

I've recently sort of come back after a long break, but there are so many new people here, I wanted to kind re-introduce myself.

Passions: reading, nature, science, Johnny Depp

Favorite book: The Lost Island of Tamarind, and its sequel, Secrets of Tamarind

Favorite movie: Pirates of the Caribbean 1 (which is my newest love)

My favorite actor is, obviously, Johnny Depp. Penelope Cruz is way cool, too. 

I'm a brown belt in karate, a nerd\geek, Whovian, I hate chocolate, love licorice, love to study the bugs in my yard, and have also had temporary pets, including a grasshopper named Maize. 

I am obsessed with and believe in faerie, folklore, elven kind of mithology. Though Percy Jackson beats Lord of the Rings any day. 

October 24th is Legolas Day, and to honor the occasion, we are going to watch the first LotR movie!
