Hi chatterboxers, I'm
Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket
Hi chatterboxers, I'm
Hi chatterboxers, I'm Corina (Should I make up a nickname? Everyone else seems to have one.) and I'm new here. Or relativly new, I've posted a bunch of times, but I discovered Chatterboxing is really fun and I might be on a lot, so I might as well introduce myself.
I like reading and writing and annoying my six older siblings to death (sounds fun doesn't it?). I am very weird and pround of it.
I am obsessed with Avatar: the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra. And Percy Jackcson and The Olympians. Oh and the word "hyperventalating". I currently have the song the dwarves sing in The Hobbit movie stuck in my head, along with "When I'm gone" from Pich-Perfect.
I wish I knew how to fly, but I don't, so I guess I will have to (sadly) confine myself to the ground.
If you have any favorite books I might like, could you please post them, as I am always looking for new books to read. I have read 151 books and exactly 46,505 pages this year (and counting).
My fingers like to write "have" "ahve" (okay. . . that was random).
I ahve (see there, it did it!) lived at a hotel for eight and a half months (not fun! [well except for the sugary muffins they served each morning]) as Hurricane Sandy refugee, in a room with my four older sisters. Very crowded, might I add.
But now I'm home! With fast internet again (yay!)! But not with an AC, so it is very, very, very hot and making it impossible for me to think straight, so if I sound like an idoit (like my siblings are always callng me), please forgive me.
Oh, and I'm writing a book, but I'm not sure I'll finish it. . . anyway, it's called The Virons. And it's very good so far, or at least acording to one of my main characters. Is having our characters talk to you a sign of insanity? I think it is. . . oh well.
Okay, so that's me! I have to got walk a huge German sheperd for my neighbor, so talk to you all later!

Hi Corina, I'm Ivy! No, you don't have to make up a nickname. Some people do and some don't. Wow, That must be crazy to have six older siblings! I'm an only child, so it seems crazy to me. About me: I am a Merlinian, a Whovian, a Potterhead, and a Oncer, which means that I LOVE BBC Merlin, Doctor Who, Harry Potter and Once Upon a Time. My other favorite books beides Harry Potter are the Percy Jackson series, The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series, That Kane Chronicles, The Heroes of Olympus series, The Books of Bayern, and way too many more to list! I am a Dancer. I do Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Contemporary. I'm Homeschooled. I also love to read (obviously), write, sing, climb things, and Rubik's cube.
Welcome to the Chatterbox!

It seems crazy too me not to have six people to annoy! Anyway, it is a bit crazy since we don't have a very big house. But, all together, I can't imagin not having them! Though having my own room and space and stuff would be nice. . . .
Oh, and you like the Books or Bayern? I'm reading the first book with my older sister, and I like it alot! And I want to read The Kane Chronicles. . . . and I wish I could dance! It's so pretty when people do it!

Top!
(September 13, 2013 - 4:20 pm)
And counting...
Hello Corina! I am Theo, but I also post as Lexi, hence remaining genderless. I like to draw, write, read, cartoon, and have a bad habbit of buying expensive art supplies.
Some of my favorite books:
The Candleman Book One Society of Unreleting Villigance by Glenn Dakin
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
Powerless by Matthew Cody
Sidekicked by John David Anderson
So I guess I'm a bit of a science fiction fantasy steampunk geek.
I am currently having an anime/manga off with one of my friends of who can draw the better picture. I'm using my makeshift lightbox to ink my drawing.

Hi Corina! I'm Everinne, and let me first say that there is nothing wrong with characters talking to you. I personally think most of my characters are more interesting conversationalists than my living human friends! And I saw on another post that you like Norway...I am crazy about Norse mythology, and would love to go visit Scandinavia.
Anyway, welcome to the Chatterbox! We're getting a whole bunch of new people on here, and it's fun seeing new faces. I am also a fan of the Percy Jackson series--and am homeschooled--and am also writing a book, though that's kind of common currency around here! I am also an Elf (just kidding--if I could have a superpower, it would be the power to turn myself into one, though), and split my time among the mortals, roaming the streets of Asgard, walking the decks of the RMS Titanic (even though it went down in the Atlantic in 1912), and riding a horse across the plains of Rohan. Have you read Lord of the Rings? If you have not, there's a book recommendation for you.
(September 14, 2013 - 2:34 pm)
Hello Corina! My name is Ashlee and I enjoy reading, listening to music, and writing. It must have been hard living in a hotel for so long with a big family. My family is a total of 4 kids with me as the oldest. I am also writing a book (well okay I am working on a bunch of books right now) called the Sand Portal. My favorite color is blue (any shade of blue). Oh and about the nicknames, I don't use one (but I am thinking of calling myself PandaGirl sometimes) but some people do. I hope you enjoy the Chatterbox (even though you're not that new)!

Hey! I'm Melody. I'm known around here for my Disney obsession but I also like to read, write, dance, act, and sing (not very well). The only tv shows I really watch are Once Upon a Time and Jeopardy (if Fetch were still on, I would say that, too). My favorite movies are The Little Mermaid, Star Wars, and Pitch Perfect. For books, I love Kingdom Keepers and John Green and pretty much every book I read (mostly YA currently). Welcome! Always nice to see new people! *hugs* If you have any questions, especially involving Disney, don't be afraid to ask. :)

@Melody
Did you know Merida (from the movie Brave) is officially a disney princess? Me and my best friend were looking up the disney princesses and they now count her as one of their own. Although, personally, I don't think her actor at Disney World looks much like her. Maybe that's just because she's way too old, but. . . well anyway. Her mother is good, though!
To all of you:
Do you like TV shows? Because if you do, you should all watch Avater: the Last Airbender. Don't watch the movie, they totally butchered the show!!! The actors don't even have the right hair and skin color!! So, anyway it's really epic and hilarious, with just the right touch of romance ;). The second show, Legend of Korra (the second season of which is coming out right now, eeeeeekk) is pretty good, but not as good, more of a teen drama then the epic adventure the last one was. It's still worth it to watch. XD If any of you have watched this show please tell me! I love it!
Oh, and are any of you from New York? I am.
(September 15, 2013 - 5:19 pm)
Yeah, I did know that! There was this big controversy when they made new images of her as an official Disney Princess, because they made her overly feminine. I think they changed it back, though, so she's still slightly tomboyish. I'm pretty sure they're going to make Anna from Frozen an official Disney Princess, too, once her movie comes out.

Hi Corina! I'm Teresa. I like to read, write, draw, dance ballet and pointe and cook. As for books, some of my favorites are...
The Books of Bayern by Shannon Hale
The Princess Academy by Shannon Hale
The Twelve Dancing Princess Series by Jessica Day George
Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
Out of my Mind by ( I can't remember the author)
Any book by Wendy Mass
(September 15, 2013 - 3:00 pm)
@ Teresa
You know, I've read all of those books except for Out of my Mind and Ella Enchanted (I have the book, just need to get around to reading it). Well, I'm reading the first of the Books of Bayern, with three of my sisters, out loud and I really like it so far and I want to read the others! Did you read any other books by Jessica Day George, if you haven't you should! I've read all her books except one (my library doesn't have it D:). And they are all really good!
My spam thingy says cpra. Ahem, watch your mouth!

Welcome to the Chattebox, Corina!
A book you might like is Bloody Jack, by L. A. Meyer. It's about a girl in London who disguise herself as a boy and goes into the British Navy in the 1800s. It's one of my favorite books. Also, some long books to keep you busy, Septimus Heap, which is a seven book fantasy series, and each book is about 400-500 pages long. You're not crazy to be talking to your book characters. Sometimes I get really depressed because my characters are all in my head and I can't ever meet them.
(September 15, 2013 - 6:16 pm)
Oooh, sounds cool, thanks! And my sister said I should read Septimus Heap, though I didn't know there were that many they were that long. I love long books! Awesomeness.
(September 16, 2013 - 7:47 pm)
I'm from New York, as well!
(September 18, 2013 - 5:15 pm)
Hi Corina! I'm Blonde Heroines Rule! Percy Jackson fangirl, general romance detestor, and nutcase extrordinaire! Sorry I haven't had a chance to introduce myself since a) my internet went down, and b) (as you already know) I broke my nose, so, ha!
But anyway, I LOVE Avatar both Last Airbender, and Korra! Besides SC, I don't think anyone else has seen it. We started an RP, but no one else joined.
Some good books? Well, I will always recommend the classics first and foremost! And in the classics I DEEPLY recommend: What Katy Did!!! As well as Anne of Green Gables! I'm probably one of the biggest Anne nuts on here. Ask anyone. I mean ANYONE. Then I absolutely LOVE The Girl Who Could Fly, Keeper of the Lost Cities, and Pegasus; Flame of Olympus!
And finally, no, your characters talking to you is NOT a sign of insanity. They've been doing that for me since I was six. But then again, I'm insane, so I guess I'm not the best person to say. But still, I don't think it is. But if it is, who cares?
Glad you're here!
