Hi! I'm new!
Hi! I'm new!
I come from Paris, France and it is really awesome here! I can see the Eiffel Tower from my bedroom window I am bi-lingual, which means I can speak and write in two languages, French and English Bonjour comment vas-tu? That means Hello how are you doing? So yeah! I love to sing and play the violin. Hope to get to know everybody!

Hello, Crissy! Welcome to CB!
I am True S. but I prefer to be called True. I am eleven, and will turn twelve in November. My younger sister, Butterfly is also here on CB, and I think she'll come around here soon.
You live in France? Cool! I'm in Texas, frying in the heat. I want to learn how to speak French, and will start this year in my home school classes.
I'm glad to know you, and hope to see you around CB! :)

Wow! That's so awesome! I would love to see the Eiffel Tower in person! I'm Watermelon! I love watermelons obviously and eat them whenever I can get my hands on one. I love to play violin too!

Top! Up! Poke! Scoot!
(It's me, True. Whenever we make the first post on a new thread, it goes to the bottom of the list. So we have to bring it back to the top!)

I said, TOP!!!

Salut Crissy! Je m'appelle Blonde Heroines Rule. Percy Jackson geek, classic books lover, and overall nutcase extraordinaire. Welcome to the Chatterbox! It's cool to have someone from France. As you can see, I'm learning to speak French myself, though, I'm not very good yet. But anyway, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Hope you have fun and hang around for awhile!

Pretty much I'm a brown-haired Blonde Heroines Rule. Don't get scared off by me, I'm actually a super hero and only nutty when I'm breathing. (Okay, you got me. I'm always a wannabe asylum-maniac and it shows.)

Ahem.
TOP!!!

Through recent history, I was able to find this thread after I combed CaC for it page by page. Has anyone noticed the interesting thing on page 34? By the way,
TOP!

Hi Crissy, I'm Ivy. Welcome to the Chatterbox! That is so cool that you live in France! I really want to go visit there. I've been learning French for a while but I'm not very good. I am a Merlinian, a Whovian, a Potterhead and a Oncer, which means that I LOVE BBC Merlin, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and Once Upon a Time. My other favorite books besides Harry Potter are the Percy Jackson series, The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series, That Kane Chronicles, The Heroes of Olympus series, The Books of Bayern, and way too many more to list! I am a Dancer. I do Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Contemporary. I also love to read(obviously), write, sing, climb things, and Rubik's cube.
Well, that's about it, so au revoir!

Hey Crissy! I'm Melody, the resident Disney geek. I like reading, writing, obsessing over Disney, dancing (tap and jazz), and playing the clarinet. And sometimes singing. Welcome to the Chatterbox! Oh, also, I like Disney.

Welcome, Crissy!
I'm True's little sister, Butterfly. I'm 9 and will be 10 in December, love to read, draw, and do gymnastics.
I hope you will enjoy CB and stay!

Hi, Crissy, I'm Zach L. I'm twelve years old, play saxophone + piano + guitar, really WISH I could sing but I can't :P and can solve a Rubik's Cube in 28.53 seconds.
Think I covered all the important points . . .
(August 13, 2013 - 12:17 pm)
That is so awesome that you you can do the Rubik's cube in 28 seconds! My record is 49, but it's usually about a minute. What method do you use? I have a friend who's record is 8 seconds. Disgusting, right? Apparently he knows over 200 algorithms for the 3x3.

I do Fridrich, but I use simplified F2L and two-look OLL. And I still use the beginner's PLL.
I am going to competition with my friends (one of them can solve in 19, the other in 21) on the 24th, so before then I am aiming to learn advanced PLL and a few of the most important ones from F2L.
I can also solve 2 x 2 and 4 x 4, but very slowly. I am learning Ortega for the 2 x 2 and I know Reduction for the 4 x 4 except for parity. I hate parity.
To all the people who have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about:
The Fridrich method is an advanced method for solving the 3 x 3 Rubik's Cube. It is divided into three stages: F2L, or first two layers, OLL, or orienting the last layer (meaning getting the last face all with the right color on the top face), and PLL, positioning the last layer, or moving around the top layer until all of the pieces are positioned correctly.
Two-look OLL is an easier version of OLL divided into two sub-stages.
Ortega is a method for solving the 2 x 2 in which you solve the orient the first layer, then orient the last layer, then position both layers (PBL).
Reduction is a method for the 4 x 4 in which you group the centers, then pair the edges so that you can solve it like a larger 3 x 3, UNLESS you get parity which is the most annoying thing in the world. Parity does not occur on the 3 x 3 and so you have to learn some new complicated algorithms.
