@Blonde Heroines Rule
I'm considering your application. Would you please answer these interview questions? (They can be made up if you want, or you can actually answer them. I don't care.)
1. Why do you think you should get this job?
2. How well do you work in a team? Give examples.
3. How would you respond to a problem?
4. What is the best and worst thing you have ever made?
You are applying as a waitress, right?
(July 24, 2013 - 9:55 am)
Why, of course I can cook!
*picks up toaster, investigates it from all angles*
. . . Now, what does this thing do?
*Toast pops up in face*
But yes, I would like a job . . . please . . .

A job as a cook, right? Or a waiter?

I already answered a couple of days ago . . . but it won't show up.
1. Why do you think you should get this job?
Because I am an amazing cook. Totally.
2. How well do you work in a team? Give examples.
Why, I work very well in a team. Once I had a history project with a group. I did all the work and my group members messed around! We got an A and everyone was happy! (Just kidding. I didn't do all the work. But we did get an A.)
3. How would you respond to a problem?
Hit the problem with a spatula.
4. What is the best and worst thing you have ever made?
Best: Um . . . a cheesesteak with wage ribeye cut down with foie gras and topped with truffled homemade fontina cheese on a sesame roll.
Worst: Toast. That burned. And set off the fire alarm.
5. Can you cook most of the stuff on the menu?
Yes . . .
(July 28, 2013 - 12:32 pm)

My application:
1. Why do you think you should get this job? I think I should get this job because I am hardworking and I love to carry food around like a fancy waitress.
2. How well do you work in a team? Give examples. I think I work well in a team because in class projects I am helpful, but I don't boss everybody around or pretend like I did the whole thing.
3. How would you respond to a problem? I would find a loophole somewhere in some rule and get out of whatever punishment awaited me.
If it wasn't something I did I guess I would keep a cool head and try to figure out logically how to solve it.
4. What is the best and worst thing you've ever made? The best thing I have ever made was probably a baked mac and cheese, um um so good. The worst thing was when did something stupid and it turned out disgusting. (I can't think of anything specific.)

@ Teresa:
My job application:
1. Why do you think you should get this job?
So long as I know the recipe, I can cook (really, I can). I'm also skilled in serving, which ever is needed or required of me.
2. How well do you work in a team? Give examples.
Well, I work fairly well. I participate in many of Inkwell's RPs, and that requires working along with others, plus I've had experience in school.
3. How would you respond to a problem?
For the most part, I react quite level headedly. I can access the situation, and take the course of action best suited to the situation.
4. What is the best and worst thing you have ever made?
Hmm. In the way of cooking, my best would be my great great aunt's Corn beef hash recipe, and my worst would be the time I forgot toast in the oven and it nearly lit on fire.
Yes, I am applying for a waitress position!
