How was everyone's
How was everyone's Fourth of July?
My Fourth of July was fun! It was the first time in a couple years the fireworks weren't rained out. My family went to my town's parade, which is the largest in my area. The best float was one with people dressed up like the Smurfs. I think it was called the Smurf Mobile. Then, we went to our community picnic and got pasties, cudighi's, chicken and cinnamon rolls that were at least ten inches across. We also went on a hike in the woods around a lake. Finally, we went to the fireworks and ate kettle corn.
Today, my cousins and I are putting on a puppet show about the time leading up the the revolutionary war, so basically the Intolerable Acts. It is hard to write a script that is accurate, funny for all ages, and entertaining. I think this one sums it up.
The last scene is short but sort of funny. It goes:
X: I can't take King George anymore.
Y: Agreed, let's declare independence and start a war.
Z: This will be revolutionary!
Well, I've got to go.

I spent most of the day making cherry pies, then after that I went to my friend's house, swam in her pool (a bunch of our other friends were there, too) and then there was a barbecue and we played Apples to Apples. The friend's name is Helena, so it gets really confusing.
