Strangely, I always imagine these two things when I think of Okinawa- one is a pineapple (???) and the other is this Japanese celebrity's monkey face that always shows up on the TV shows he's in when he says something weird. Then all the other celebrities on the show are like, "Well, you're from Okinawa". ??????? Strange, right? I'm not even sure if he's really from Okinawa or not.
