Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Here's my journal

Here's my journal entry.  I added some pictures!! :D:D:D

Just got back from FLORIDA!!! Since the flight was cancelled on Wednesday because of snow, we flew in on Thursday at 4:30 in the morning, arriving at 11:30 AM.  We had a delicious burrito at an AWESOME restaurant near the airport. (I forgot what it is, but, Allison, figure it out and eat there!!!  YUM!!! J).  We checked in at the hotel, went to our room, and my mom immediately fell asleep.  I watched TV (extremely boring…) for a few HOURS…  Sigh  The weather was decent, a little colder than I expected Florida to be…  That night, we drove to the Amway Arena and watched the Orlando Magic DESTROY the Cleveland Cavaliers.  It was the best game of the season, and I WAS THERE!!!  Sorry to Ohioans…  I had a BLAST!!!!  Go MAGIC!!  WIN THE FINAL WHATEVER-IT’S-CALLED!!!!!!

The next day, my mom and I drove to Tampa to see the zoo.  It was a BLAST!  They have baby elephants, tigers, orangutans, chimps, mandrills, pumas (she’s not really a baby anymore…), and something else that I somehow forgot what it was…  Allison?  Near the end of the day, my sweatshirt got soaked in heron droppings (I won’t go into detail, or the Admin will zap it).  Even though I bought a new sweatshirt and t-shirt, my hair stunk for the rest of the day.  Oh well!  We saw manatees!  They are such beautiful creatures!  The baby tigers and their mommy are pure white!  The cubs are 3 ½ months old and were completely crazy!  They kept play attacking each other and their mom!!  They were SOOO cute!!!!!

On Saturday, we went to Disneyworld Magic Kingdom.  Pure fun!!!!  We got in all of the rides I wanted to go on, except for the, ohhhh, what’s it called???  Uhhhh….  *opens internet* *Googles “Disneyworld map”* *searches map for a loooong time* *finally finds the name* *faints from exhaustion* *wakes up to tell you the name* Wait.  I forgot it!  Wait a minute!  Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!  There!  I said it!  And we didn’t get to go on Snow White's Scary Adventures, which really disappointed me, because I have great memories of Mom, Angel (my cousin), Aunt Janet, (obviously my aunt), and I screaming the entire way, just for fun!  It was closed yesterday.  Maybe next time it’ll be open and our relatives will be with us!  We’ll have to see!

Today (Sunday), we, sigh, flew home…  WAAAAAAAA! L L L Allison, I couldn’t stop thinking, “Oh!  I can’t believe it!  I’m in the same city as one of my Chatterbox friends!!!!  I hope I see her!”  I’m sorry I didn’t see you… L We did tour many of the neighborhoods, though, including my parents' old house in a thuggish neighborhood and a wicked rich neighborhood.  Maybe I’ll see you another time!!! Oh!  Allison, do you like the Magic????  I’m a complete Magic freak and LOVE them!!!!  I’m soooo glad I got to go to the game on Thursday!!!! J

The pics are in backwards order, so sorry!!! :(

#5. The elephant and his mommy

#6. The giraffe and a zebra

# 7. An impala and kudus (they're similar to bongos!!!!!)

Welcome back, Paige!! Sorry I'm not a fan of burritos. I've never heard of the Orlando Magics. Those tigers are soooo cute!! And the elephants!!! That bird is scary looking! Sorry those herons pooped on you! That sounds gross! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is really fun! (I went to Disneyland). That one fattish bird in the second to last picture is pretty! I like that giraffe picture! That's sad you didn;t get to meet Allison! It would have been AWESOME if you had!! Anyway, welcome back!!!!

Well, it's sort of funny.  I went to Yellowstone with my Packers sweatshirt, only to lose it.  Soo, we bought a Yellowstone one at the giftshop.  When we got home, we saw that the hotel I left my original sweatshirt at, had shipped it back to me, so now I had two sweatshirts!  At the Lowry Park zoo, I was wearing my Yellowstone sweatshirt when it got "stained", so I bought a new one there.  When we got back to the hotel, we washed my stained one, only to find out that it washed out, so, once again, I had two sweatshirts! :D So probably, on the next vacation, I'll wear my new sweatshirt, something will happen to it, I'll buy a new one, then my original one will be recovered. :):)  I sort of like it! :D

Oh, and the Magic are a fairly new team.  I LOVE 'EM!!!! :D Wait, you must not watch basketball, if you've never heard of Dwight Howard.  He's one of the coolest basketball players!  You always see pictures of him wearing a Superman outfit, because he pretended to be Superman during last year's AllStar game.  He obviously won it! :D I wonder how he'll win it this year??? :):):)

Oh!  This is really, really, really, really random, but have you ever been to Bear Country U.S.A.???  I know it's in SD, not ND, but it's a great zoo!  You actually drive your car through BEAR exhibits (and other animals, too...). :D

Thanks!!!  It was slightly hard to take a picture on the Pirates of the Carribean ride, because flash photgraphy is not allowed (even when you're stuck!), and it's pitch black in there.  Fortunatly, they had lightning flashing, so I took the pic during a flash. :):):) Actually, I took about a dozen pictures, because we were there quite a while...... <|;)  (he has an eyepatch, not winking. :):D)

Oh my gosh! Paige was in the same city as me! She saw the same zoo I did! Excuse me. *screams into pillow* Okay, I'm all right now. First off....did you see the little baby orangutan at the zoo? Weren't all the animals so cute? Poor you about the sweatshirt! No, I'm not a Magic fan, since neither me nor my family is into basketball at all. But I'm happy for you that you saw the game! The cool weather here in FL that you experienced isn't normal - we're having a chilly period, and some people are getting all bundled up when it's only 60 degrees or so, because they're not used to it! :) What were the names of the two neighborhoods you toured? I live in Winter Park, north of Orlando. That sounds like an early flight! This is totally off topic, but isn't the little train in the OIA (Orlando International Airport) so fun? Sorry. Allison's a little nuts today. So nuts she's talking in third person. I'm sorry I didn't see you, Paige, too! Maybe another time. I was actually picturing the other day what it would be like if we did meet in Orlando, but the thing is, I have no clue what you look like, so I probably wouldn't know it was you if you passed me on the sidewalk.

I'm so glad you had fun in FL!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

:D:D:D I saw the orangutan baby!!!  He (or she...) was SOOO cute!! :D:D:D:D  I LOVE baby animals!!! :D:D:D Yeah, the only reason I like basketball is because my mom is OBSESSED with it... :) And I'll watch football if the Jacksonville (my hometown) Jaguars are playing, because my dad is OBSESSED with football. :) And this is really random, but I've never watched baseball on the TV (mostly because I find it boring if I'm not out there in the stadium thing...), but I still wear my pink Boston Redzox hat everywhere I go, and frown upon people wearing Yankee Hats (Grrrrrr.....).... :):):) Oooh, brrrr, 60 degrees, brrr....  Right now, outside, it's 22 degrees, but it feels like ten. :):) Hee, hee, hee! :D Ohhh, the names of the neighborhoods.....  You should know that I'm about the worst person with names, but I'll try. :) Uhh, well, the first neighborhood, was a completely gangster thug area, that sort of creeped me out.  It was right near the airport.  The second was near all of the museums, like the art museum and the science museum, on a lake.  It was really fancy. :) I don't know what their names were though...  Sorry...  Is Winter Park in Orlando, or is it actually just north of it?  Yes, it was an extremly early flight, and especially for me, the girl who normally gets up at 9:30 every day... :):):) I love that train thing!!! :D:D:D:D It's so cool!! :D:D:D My mom actually knows one of the guys who helped design the airport and help come up with that idea!! :D Paige likes talking in third person, too! :):) In fact, you'll see that she does it a lot. :):):) I was thinking about what it'd be like to meet you, and I had the same problem! :( I have blonde hair, am sort of skinny for my height, pasty white (my brother and his friends call me Casper.......), wear glasses, don't have pearced ears (yet I always am wearing clip-ons), and, uhh, I can't think of anything else, except for that I have blue eyes... :):) I wonder if we'd still, somehow, be able to recognize each other, if we walked by each other, since we know so much about each other. Hmmmm...
