I'm not sure

I'm not sure if I've asked this before but... Cricket, I have a couple older issues, and there were a whole bunch of characters that aren't here anymore. What happened to them?

Some of our people thought that there were too many characters, making it difficult for readers to follow the stories, so it was decided to concentrate on using fewer characters. But the others may come back to visit sometime.

I actually haven't gotten Cricket in a few years, because I totally delayed renewing and forgot about it. WHO DID THEY CUT?!

@L: they haven't cut anyone from the current issues, but the old issues. From the 1900's I think. There used to be ants and roly polys, and also more crickets.
