Chatter Box Dictionary Time:

Inkwell: The chatterbox section where you talk about your writing.  Or writing in general.  A lot of RPs and RRs (more on that later) spring up in this happy little place.  No one's thought of an abbreviation for this yet.  I am proposing InkW.  

Blab about Books: The chatterbox section for talking about books, authors and other things in that same species.  Quote games happen here.  Abbrieviation is BaB.

Down to Earth: To talk about the world around you.  Pretty much school, and other things (I'm trying not to say stuff so much.  It's not working) that happen in the world around you.  Like if you caught wind of Hurricane Sandy, (pun not intended at first) you would find a thread about it there (which is probably on the second page by now.) Abbrieviation is DtE.

Pudding's Place: To talk about the arts.  If you are in a play, you could post about it here.  Drawing threads are also happening on and off.  Abbrieviation is PP.

Chirp at Cricket: where you introduce yourself, make good-bye threads and SIs.  The QUOTIES thread is also a considerably noticable addition.  Abbrieviation is CaC.

This Month: for talking about your Cricket issue.  There isn't really an abbrieviation for this.

RP: Role Play.  You create a character and post as them in the RP thread.  Other people also post, so it's kind of like a multiple narrators RR.

RR: Round Robin.  Every one take turns writing part of a story, but you don't make your own characters.

SI: Secret Identity.  You post as a movie character/book character/make a riddle for your name and whatnot.  Other people try to guess who you are.

Spammy/Spambox/Fill In The Blank: the captcha code at the bottom of the page.  Sometimes people name theirs, and when they say a word (nice, tobi, etc.) or random letters that sound like a word, they post what they said and a translation.  This can get rather amusing.  Example: Spamster in his Spamster cage says mzka.  I like mazurkas, too!

Hi Koala!!! I'm Ivy. I live in Camelot, as you can proably tell from the location box. When I first joined the Chatterbox I went by Hannah A., but I've been Ivy for quite a while now. I am a major Harry Potter fan,and some of my other favorite books are the Rick Riordan books, The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, the Sisters Grimm, The Books of Bayern, and tons of other books I can't can't think of right now.  I an also kind of obsessed with BBC's Merlin, which is why I live in Camelot. I'm a Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Contemperary dancer. I am Snow, Spanish, and a Flower in The Nutcracker this year. I am more of a cat person than a dog person, which is probably good, since I have three cats. Their names are Mouse, Snowball, and Annabeth.

Hi, I'm Mattie, resident nerd, one of many resident writers, resident Tolkien geek, quietly obsessed with Supernatural, and basically just another CBer like everyone else. I'm a sophomore in high school, and I live in that 'valley of humility between two mountains of conceit', North Carolina.

I listen to classical music (I play classical flute and piano), some folk/bluegrass/Celtic, some nebulous neo-Celtic stuff (think Enya), and a great deal of alternative rock, mainly Muse and Arcade Fire.  I also love Kansas.  The band, not the state.  Well, the state too.

I love to read and write.  My favorite books are the Kingdom Keepers series, Rick Riordan's books, and many more.

I have two characters named Sonny and Leota (whose name is Disney inspired) who I often bring into roleplays, random threads, and such for comedic relief.  Sonny's a self-absorbed supermodel and Leota's really sarcastic and rude.  They're both annoying and never ever listen to me.

My sister, Blue Fairy, posts on here often.

I have a really eclectic taste in music.  My three favorite bands are One Direction, the Beatles, and the Plain White T's.  My favorite song right now is The Rhythm of Love by the Plain White T's.

Hi Koala! I'm Red, one of the crazier people on the Chatterbox, and the only boy that regularly posts here! (There are two others, but they don't come on very often anymore.) The Chatterbox isn't that diverse, gender wise. 3 boys and one person who would prefer to remain genderless. 

I am currently taking over the world with lemmings. That's kind of my claim to fame, here and at school.

I love the band called Rush, which is awesome, and I read a lot. Hmm. I don't really fit in a nutshell. I guess  you'll just have to stick around and learn about me that way.

Hi Koala! Cute name! I have a little glass koala statue that I love! I'm Blonde Heroines Rule, so, therefore, you can tell I am a big fan of Blonde Heroines. Blondes are not all ditsy, flirty, incapable, and all around twits. They are in fact pretty awsome. Take Annabeth Chase. Leo could not have summed it up better than saying that he did not know where the sterotype blondes came from! Oh, sorry, there I go off on another tangent. That's something else you'll have to except about me Koala, I easily go off on other trains of thought. Well, anyway. Wazup Koala! I'm A.S.! I like to read. And read. And I really like reading. And One Direction, like Melody. I also like Chameleon Circuit. And Doctor who, because bowties are cool. I'm super crazy but don't show it a lot on here, and (this will be news to everybody) I'm working on a book about The Lemming Wars, which I missed, and I'm assuming you did too. I've been here on and off for a while, but as far as I know the offs will be much less frequent and much shorter now. I'm a Wrimo, if you happen to be too, so that's cool. And, um... BUNNIES!
