POST IF YOU

POST IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE CB

Alright, the CB is slowly dying a painful death. Post here if you care if it dies or not.

In other news, NaNo is killing me. Missed the first few days and had a huge essay dropped on my head last week. Bio is obnoxious (who cares that alpha-ketogluterate is the third intermediate of the Krebs cycle??), and our football team is doing us the indecency of winning a lot. Which means, of course, that we, the bandos, have to suffer for two more weeks until the playoffs are over.

I've been working on a backbreaking art project for the past few weeks. Geh. My 2H is down to a little stubby thing by now, and my eraser has holes in it that will not repair. Apples are good. My glasses broke today, and I hate my contacts.

Thank you for reading about the tediousness of stuff that I'm annoyed about.

This shall be the Thread For Rants On Things.

Go!

We care about the CB! In its entire history, there have been both busy and slow periods, as people grow older and get busy with other activities. November has always been one of the slowest time because many Chatterboxers are participating in NaNoWrMo. We predict CB will become lively again, and our alumni will visit again from time to time.

Your characters... are strange? Now I want to do something. It will make me feel better.

Let's start with Liberty, oh my darling Libby Oveschon. She's become much more of a tomboy than I remember writing into her pro, and since when was she a shapeshifter's daughter? I never gave you permission, Liberty! At least she's managed to get the short end of the stick--she might have a (very) powerful shapeshifter who managed to outwit the entire Council for a father, but she can't even flat-iron her hair properly (it's that curly). Her interactions with Edwin have become more thwart-your-every-hope-and-dream than hey-we're-like-buddies! Although dearest Edwin is one of my best characters ever created. Kind of etiquette-centered, but very laid-back with those he is familiar with. It works out better on the paper. His sister, Sorina, is another of my best ones. Since nobody can hear her except Dallas (it would take a long time to explain, so go with it here), I don't actually have to write all of her lines out--NaNo for the lazy! It has been implied that she has a bit of a foul mouth, but is a superdeduperdy clean freak. Opposed to most things artificial, wears gloves all of the time.

And then we get to my Nameless One. She used to have a name--Katrina Elisabeth. But I've changed her name SO MANY TIMES! Nothing seems to fit! It went from Katrina, to Riina, to Liz, to Jenna, to Cassidy and I STILL can't find one that makes sense for her! Worse still, her personality seems to change slightly with every name. And I think her hair is blue.

Dallas Time! He's probably the only character I've gotten straight from the start. He's a scientist who likes cats and is confused by anything closer than the moon. My favorite line of his is "Go away, I'm trying to find out what this toaster does." I feel like he and Rigan would be best friends, but alas, they do not meet in my current plan. You know what? Screw my current plan. I'm making Dallas and Rigan be buddies. Rigan's my OCD novelist who is anal about the pronunciation of his name ("Ri-GAN, not REE-gan"). Too bad his poor novel is being rejected by everybody. I'm just evil to this guy. Actually, I don't know anything about his book. It's just referred to as "my project" or "the book". I should give it a title.

Well, this has been head-clearing. And I like FMA too!

I'm so sorry that I don't post as much anymore. It's just that I've got a lot of school work and stuff.

I care about the Chatterbox! I've just been trying not to get distracted from my NaNo so I haven't posted much, but I've looked at other posts. The CB will not die because I've only been on it for a couple months!

Also, yesterday was a weird Thanksgiving because insted of a turkey my family got chicken breast. My parents say chicken tastes better than turkey and cooking a whole bird is too much meat and work. The chicken tasted good though and my dad baked four pies and we're baking another today. Now I'm going to eat left-overs for breakfast.

If this is also a rant page, I shall rant! First, Virtual School! I DESPISE how long it takes and all the reports it takes! IT IS WAY TOO MUCH WORK!!! AAAHHHH!!!!! Second, why do I always stuff myself to puking on Thanksgiving?! Can ANBODY tell me this, and does anybody else do this to? HELP!!! I'm drowning in laundry and I'm going to become the youngest person in history to get alzheimers! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

While we're on the subject of rants, I recently discovered another BBC masterpiece...

Sherlock. Yes, Sherlock. I have joined the fandom, and I HAVE NO REGRETS!
