Goodbye, fellow Chatterbo

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Goodbye, fellow Chatterbo

Goodbye, fellow Chatterboxers.

No, just kidding. I'm not leaving. However, I will be on the CB a lot less, starting somewhere around now, as school + homework are already taking up most of my time, and soon the cross-country season will be starting. So, no CB. But I'll still post on weekends. And during vacations and such, as I will seriously miss you guys.

How do you end such a post? I have no idea.

My cats are playfighting next to me right now.

Um, random comment. Sorry about that.

Anyhoo . . . yeah. It's actually Thursday as I'm writing this, so on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (Labor Day Weekend yay!) I will be on the CB.

So . . . talk to you later? . . . . . . . . .

I hate saying good-bye to friends and always try to avoid it. And you never know when someone may come back into your life. We'll look forward to hearing from you, Zach, when you have time.

Bye, I guess.  Please post when you have time.  It's nice to have guys in the CB again.

Remember, I still have time to post on weekends. Not all hope is lost.

Hopefully, I'm not actually leaving for a long time yet.

And in a few months, when  the cross-country season ends, I should have a little spare time to post on weekdays. Unless my algebra teacher starts piling on even more homework.

So this is a kind of notification, not really a good-bye.

I appreciate the kind replies, though. Nice to know you people love me. ;)

If you leave, there will only be two regularly-posting guys on the CB. Regarded everywhere as a "problem".

Oh goodie, I've always wanted to do this:

Farewell, our good friend Zachary, who has filled with Chatterbox with with mirth and fun during the short period he was a regular. May the stars follow you on your way and we await your next post.

Okay, that was kind of wierd, but anyway...

NOOOOOOO! Don't leave! Wait, that just sounded really weird. Oh well.

I'm sorry to hear that the mad homework demons have caught up to you. You should learn a valuable skill called *drumroll*.... Multitasking.

As in:

1) Comine reading and exercise-walk around or do a simple exercise routine (jumping jacks, etc.) while reading.

2) Combine homework and messing around- flip back and forth between english essays and conquering Canada.

3) Combine homework and anime- first thing I do when I get home (well, actually I go to the bathroom first): make a snack, get out my math homework and find an anime episode. Proceed to eating, while doing geometry or algebra, and making fun of said anime while it is playing. Scientifically proven to boost math scores (wise nod).

All you need in life: multitasking

NOOO!!! DON'T LEAVE US!!! But I get the whole homework/sport thing. I will be doing homework, field hockey, orchestra, horseback riding, and the school play, so I will soon understand how you feel. We'll miss you!

One more week of freedom! WAAA!!!!

Sadly, I don't watch anime. HOWEVER, I just realized my history teacher told us to study in twenty-minute chunks with ten minute breaks in between, which equals ten minutes on the CB.

Mom: Zach, get off the computer and do your homework! Don't you have a history test tomorrow? (Yeah, Zach is my real name.)

Me: Yeah, exactly. I'm studying.

Mom: Then why are all your textbooks out here?

Me: I'm just following me teacher's instructions.

Mwahaha. I look forward to that moment.

Btw, our English teacher told us we had to read 26 books over the course of the school year. Not only that, if the book is over 350 pages, it counts as two books. I was like 'OMG this is gonna be SO EASY.'

I just realized that the book I'm reading right now has 342 pages. *Facepalms*

I was really scared when I saw this thread.  But now I'm okay.  Kind of.

I read more books than that over summer vacation.  Geez, you have a good English teacher.  You could just do a Harry Potter marathon every other month... although Harry Potter is kind of overrated... but Rick Riordan is writing amazingly mammoth books now, so good luck!

List of amazing books I am almost sure are over 350 pages:

The Book Thief

The Fault in our Stars

The Invention of Hugo Cabret (hee hee.  I read this one in, like, two hours?)

All Kane Chronicles Books

His Dark Matierials trilogy

Here Be Monsters

Four Fantastic Novels (by Daniel Pinkwater.)

Daniel Pinkwater: Five Novels

The Neddiad (might be slightly under 350.  But since I'm broad casting Daniel Pinkwater...)

Lord of the Rings

The Hobbit

I'm getting really off topic now, so, I'll miss you.  And I agree with Red on the multitasking (although I don't actually use that strategy.)

Did I mention Divergent?

Spamster in his spamster cage says nzix.  Oh, Sabriel by Garth Nix (I believe that's over 350...)

Lirael is over 350.  So is "The big wreck" (the complete unfortunate events)

Speaking of The Invention of Hugo Cabret, add Wonderstruck to that list.  Same idea, different plot.

Oh, I remember that thing (you're in seventh, right?). Except at my school we had to read 40 books. I just wrote down the first ten books each quarter, and then stop recording. So I only recoreded about 4 weeks worth of books for the whole thing. Sakura got a school-wide record for number of books read, what was the exact number, Sakura?
