Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Ok, so I'm new on CB and have only been in one other RP on Pudding's Place which I joined a few days ago. I noticed there are a lot of HPRP's and that most of them don't get past 30 or 40 posts. I want to make one that will last! (I know I sound like a politician eww...)

Name: Kaily (call her Kai) Aston
Age/Year: 13/3rd year
Gender: girl
House: Gryffindor                                                                                                                                                                                        Description: average height, flaming red hair, very green eyes
Other: Is a chaser for the Gryffindor team, she lives with her 25-year-old wizard brother, Xander (pronounced Zander), who works at the Daily Prophet, because her parents (who were aurors) were killed when she was 4. She is very good at charms and hexes. She has a pink pigmy puff called Freckles because he's got purple freckles. She also gets free Daily Prophets because of where her brother works.
Blood Line: Half-blood
Personality: tries really hard to be nice to everyone, even people she doesn't like, very brave, get's along with people easily

I walked causually with my brother in Kings Cross Station. He pushed my cart, while I held on to a squirming Freckles. My brother and I ran to the barrier and slipped through it. "I'll never get tired of that," he muttered, glancing back at the wall. "I know you won't. Let's go! Hurry! I want to get a good seat!" I pushed my way through the crowd until I was close enough to the entrance of the train. I grabbed my suitcases and my brother hugged me one last time before I waved good-bye and jumped onto the train. I walked through the train looking in all the compartments, but only found one that wasn't full. It was also empty. I sat down and put Freckles on my shoulder where he started to fall asleep.
