I didn't know...

I didn't know if I should put this post here, but because it was originally a book, I figured I could put it here:

Has anyone seen the Eragon movie? I wanted to see it because I just finished the book, but I don't know whether or not to see it. I saw the trailer, and it seems kinda cool that everyone seems British, but basically I want to know what everyone else thinks.

Basically: The only good part was Jeremy Irons.

('course, I didn't like the books either, so YMMV on that)

But most of the acting was pretty terrible and they did bad things to the plot and it just... wasn't a good movie in terms of pacing and cinematography and generally making sense.

But if you like Jeremy Irons, see it. He has some delightfully hammy bits.

It's okay. I didn't like the books and the movie was just okay. It was sort of one of those B films. 

 

Ordi says "dora". I think he's actually a she. Sorry, Ordi. Eh, Dora.
