Because the old

Chatterbox: Blab About Books

New Percy Jackson RP
Because the old...

Because the old one died. the one that says "New beginning! Ok, we abandoned..." And I just wanted to say that I was Annabeth, doing a double posting thing. So, who wants to do it after the Heros of Olympus? If nobody who wants to join has read The Son of Neptune, we can just do it after The Lost Hero.

Hola.  Sorry, I'm back.  I didn't have access to the desktop and I'm too lazy to get out my laptop.  Anyways, I'll just keep on being Percy if that's OK.

P.S. Yes, this means I'm in. ;)

We're doing Percy Jackson, sort of between the last book and those other Percy books.

I guess I'll be Annabeth then, because if there's a Percy there has to be an Annabeth :/

Annabeth~

I tossed and turned. Everyone was asleep in the Athena cabin but me. Demigods get plagued by disturbing dreams every so often, but... this one was different. I wiped my sweaty forehead and sat up. The room seemed to spin around me. I steadied myself against the wall. "Whoa, girl," I muttered. I crept across the cabin, picking my way through the cluttered stacks of architectural artwork. The Athena cabin was known to be the cleanest cabin, but since my commision from the gods to rebuild Olympus, we began plummeting down to last on cabin inspection day, earning us extra kitchen duty and me several angry glares from my siblings. I finally reached my desk in the corner, where I had a neat array of pencils and paper. I switched on my bioluminescent deep sea fish lamp (Made from a real fish! ™) from Percy and closed my eyes. I took a deep breath. Opening my eyes, I reached for a pencil and a pad of paper. Soon I was deep into  my latest work, a temple for my mother, Athena.  It immediately cheered me up. Every so often I referenced the Powerpoint that had been put together by Daedalus on my sleek laptop I got a year ago. The Powerpoint was called "Designing buildings painlessly." It really was quite informative.

After an hour of dedicated work, I decided to get dressed. The rest of my cabin was up, and breakfast would probably be taken in a couple of minutes. I shut the laptop, which usually starts the shut-off process. However, the greek letter Δ on the front glowed with an eerie, pulsating red light, filling the cabin with evilness. I took a hesitant step back. All eyes were on me, and it didn't make me feel any better that I was in my pajamas.

"Um, Annabeth... is that...normal?" someone asked.

Soooo, I hope that's ok. It's terrible writing, but it sets the stage.

Percy~

Tyson was visiting 'our' cabin in camp for a few days.  It had been fun, until that new Aphrodite girl had started to pick on him.  Once she figured out he was a cyclops, she was taunting him 24/7 about how "Inferior creatures with less eyes were."  Every time she came towards us, I could see Tyson visibly tense up.  Not.  Fun.

*********

In the middle of the night one night, I was having a really bad dream.  Annabeth, Tyson, and Grover were all in a pile on the cold, hard ground.  There was blood pooled around them.  I couldn't tell who it was coming from.  The worst part was, I was the one holding the bloody sword.

I finally forced myself to wake up.  In the bed across the room, I could hear Tyson whimpering in his sleep.  Suddenly, he woke up.  "Percy, Elaina was stomping on me," he told me.  Elaina was the girl who was teasing him.  "Tyson, it's just a dream," I replied.  "Right.  A dream," he tried to convince himself.

After he fell back to sleep, I just stood there in front of the fountain in our cabin for a while.  I... I wouldn't do that to my friends, right?
