I'm currently reading The Fellowship of the Ring, and it's awesome!!!! Who else likes Tolkien?

I read the Fellowship of the Ring in 6th grade....... it was good, but boring. NOTHING HAPPENED!! They walked, they talked, they walked some more.

I am planning on re-reading the series. I read The Hobbit a very long time ago. I was terrified of Gollum and could hardly sleep at night. My dad began reading the series with me a while ago but we stopped reading it at some point... I love the movies! They're amazing!

I finished The Hobbit and I'm almost done with The Fellowship of the Ring and OH MY GOSH IT'S SO GOOD!! It's somewhat harder to read than other books, but it's definitely worth it. I love the hobbits! And the dwarves! And the elves! (Especially Galadriel and Legolas) Gollum is so creepy; I just got to the part where he's following them along the river. I can't believe they didn't know it was him! I'm almost done with the book, and I want to read the next one, but I need to read two full books by October 14th for Language Arts, so I'm going to read The Color of Magic instead. :)

 

@SC: That's how I felt about Treasure Island when I read it. Pretty good, but incredibly boring. Even in the interesting parts, nothing made any sense!
