Chatterbox: Blab About Books

The Books of Bayern
Has anybody read...

Has anybody read the Books of Bayern, by Shannon Hale? They are SOOOO GOOD! They are (at the moment) a trilogy, the first is The Goose Girl, then Enna Burning, then River Secrets. I love the way Shannon Hale writes, but almost no one has heard of her or read any of her books. Anybody? Possibly?Smile

Oh yeah, those are good! I have read The Princess Academy, which was so cool with the rock-speak. (I wonder how she ever came up with that?) And I have read The Goose Girl, which is a retelling of an old fairy tale, I think, and Enna Burning, and River Secrets. I really liked all three of the Books of Bayern. Razo cracks me up... excuse me while I go have an uncontrollable fit of giggling... *has an uncontrollable fit of giggles* *deep breath* Whew. All done now.

Two things:

1. I just found out that Bayern is a real place! It's a place in Germany. I doubt Shannon Hale had that in mind or the setting, but, anyways, it's cool.

2. Has anyone read Book of a Thousand Days? It's also by Shannon Hale and it's super good!

3. Cricket, is there a possibility that Shannon Hale would write a short story for Cricket? That would be really cool!

Whoops, that was three, but o well!

I've read The Goose Girl, but when I went to Barnes and Noble to get the other 2, they were out of stock. I'm waiting to read them, though.
