Character Guesses! This is a new game that I made up. The first person posts a character sketch or a paragraph about a character that they have chosen. The only rule is that you don't give out the character's name! Then, the other Chatterboxers have to guess which character you are trying to describe. Since I am putting this thread on BaB, you have to pick a character from a book. Here's an example (this is going to be pretty easy since it's just an example--I'm only doing it so that you all have an example and know what I mean):
This character is a girl. She has quite a few books written about her--I think she has nine total. Eight are written by one author, the other is written by another author. She has red hair that is usually in two braids. Well, at least it's USUALLY red, unless she has dyed it green! She has many freckles that she is always trying to get rid of. She uses many big words and is tall for her age. She has no siblings, but her parents have taken in two children who's mother and father have passed away. This character knows how the children feel because she is also an orphan. Her new parents adopted her and brought her to the place she has always dreamed of visiting. One thing about this character is that she makes many mistakes, but she always learns from those mistakes and never makes them again.
If you guess this character, you can post the next character sketch. Just try to make it a bit harder than this one! :-)

Yup! :-) I made it pretty easy because it was just an example. But you still guessed it, so you get to go next! Do you think you know how to do it, or do I need to explain it easier? Oh, also, you don't have to make the character sketch as long as mine! Just try to make it long enough so it's fairly easy to guess. Have fun!

Okay, here goes. Hope it's not too easy or hard!
My character is 14 years old. He is tall and skinny, with red hair, bright blue eyes, and lots of freckles. His family is poor and doesn't treat him well, so his clothes are always too small and very worn out. Most people think of him as a regular, basketball-playing boy, but he is actually very bright. Sometimes he gets a strange compulsion to go somewhere or do something, and he always does it. He is a major character, but not the main one, in the first two books in a series of five.
