Book Count-June 2011
Our last book...
Our last book count was a lot of fun and a great success so, we book counters have decided to make one for June!
For those who don't know anything about this, here's how it goes.
See how many books you can read in a month (July 1st 2011). You must read the whole book and just fill this out when you've started/finished a book.
Book:
Author:
Started:
Finished:
If you're interested, you can always put a little summary of the book!
For those who have taken part in this before: try to surpass your last record! (Mine is five *fail*).
Anyways, ONE-TWO-THREE... START READING!

Dragonhaven by Robin McKinley. It was really interesting. I really liked it, although I think it would have been much better if it was written as if it was, well, written, and not told, like Percy Jackson. There's an art to description, and while stories themselves are nice, I certainly prefer to have good writing, too. It was good, though. I really liked the story.
Detc says kcoy! He's coy!

This is pretty much a post just to top this. :-) I didn't have much time to read yesterday, so I'll start today. My goal is to get 33 or more books to beat my May record.
(June 2, 2011 - 10:05 am)
I just finished Father and Son by Edmund Gosse. I didn't just read it this month, though.
(June 2, 2011 - 2:03 pm)
I havn't done these before, so I'll try it.
(I'm back!)
(June 2, 2011 - 10:54 pm)
Does it count if I started a book and May, was half way through it and finished it in June?
If so:

Well, I haven't fiinshed it yet, but it's good so far! It's about a girl who pulls a prank, then goes missing and there are only three people who know her.
There's a whole online world dedicated to this! I'm checking it out soon.

It's an ok book about a boy that's swept behind enemy lines in China.
(June 4, 2011 - 10:52 pm)

I know it took me two days but I really have not been reading steadily.
Oh and I found out something really exciting. I was checking how to spell Jeanne Birdsall's name and I found out that a new Penderwicks book came out this year. It's called The Penderwicks At Point Mouette.
I really love her books because they are a lot like Noel Streatfeild and Elizabeth Enright's books which are some of my favorite books.
