I met Gail Carson Levine yesterday!! It was awesome! She visited a bookstore near me, and I went, and yay! And stuff. I haven't read her newest book yet, which is the title of the post, but she talked about it and read from it and it sounds awesome! Has anyone read it yet?

Yes, it was amazing! There weren't too many people there, so I raised my hand often and said a lot of things to her, though never one-on-one. She signed my copies of this book and Ella Enchanted and Fairest, too!
Oh, and I should definitely thank ZNZ. ZNZ's website had a link to GCL's website, and I just happened to see it a few days before she came! It was really lucky, and it would never have happened otherwise!

No, I haven't read her book yet. I'll have to look into that.

You met Gail Carson Levine? As in, THE Gail Carson Levine?!?!?! You are
so lucky!! She's probably my favorite author EVER! I got her new book at
Barnes & Noble just a few days after it came out. It's really good,
not quite as good as Ella Enchanted, but still awesome. It's about a
girl named Elodie who sails to the town of Two Castles to be apprenticed
as an actress, but she is apprenticed to a dragon named Meenore
instead. She and Meenore try to figure out who has been stealing from
the ogre Count Jonty Um, who has poisoned the king, and lots of other
stuff. My only complaint is that the book isn't funny enough. Otherwise,
it's really great.
