I've only read the first book, but it's excellent! Did you know that Cabeza de Vaca means cow's head in Spanish? I like your name, by the way.

Top! Also, I recommend the Immortals Quartet by Tamora Pierce and the Theodosia Throckmorton books by RL Lafevers to anyone who likes this book.

I've read part of it in Grade 5 but I didn't like it for some reason... It could be because it wasn't the first book (I think). But my mom liked it enough to read the next few books. :)

I personally thought that the title was good, and the storyline was good, but overall they were rather badly written books. Sorry, that's just my opinion.

I love The Land of Elyon! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has read it. :)

What really drew me to this series was the book covers. The illustrator did an excellent job!
Also, did any of the rest of you see Christianity in there?

I didn't; where was it? In the first book, I mean; I haven't yet read the others.

I read them in 4th grade because a friend recommended them. They did have a really good storyline, and I loved trying to figure out the mysteries, but they weren't very well written. I think Patrick Carman is kinda bad at writing from a girl's point of view...
