If you haven't

Chatterbox: Blab About Books

To Kill a Mockingbird
If you haven't...

If you haven't read this already, do it. NOW!!!!!

This is one of the most amazing books ever written.  Hilarious, poignant, and deeply moving, the book chronicles the sleepy Alabama town of Maycomb and the "crisis of conscience that rocked it".  (That last bit was from the back cover of my treasured copy).  I cry every time I read it.  Some parts are just too sad to be true.  It brings you face-to-face with the ugly truth of racism and hate.  Please, read this classic.

****Note- This has some strong language in it (especially regarding African-Americans) so I would recommend this for ages 11 and up.

My favorite characters are Dill, Atticus, Tom Robinson and Scout.

I read this! I sort of don't remember all the characters and stuff. A girl, her brother, the father... It's good you made the age limit because it does have strong language. You also have to be a mature reader (at least that's what I think). I enjoyed it though it was sad.
