Has anyone read...

Has anyone read this book series? I have read books one through five. I have also read Before Green Gables which is a book that takes place before Anne of Green Gables, but is written by a different author. It is also a really good book.

I've read the first 5 as well; they're quite good. Before Green Gables sounds interesting, too; I'll look for that.

I have read Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, Anne of the Island, and Anne's House of Dreams. I really liked them amd still listen to them on audio book. I didn't read Anne of Windy Poplars because I don't really like books that are just letters. After Anne's House of Dreams it was kind of dull because she had children and didn't really seem like Anne as much.

I've read the first two books, skipped the ones in the middle, and then read the last two, about her kids. I actually found the middle ones about grown-up Anne more boring than the ones about her kids...

I have read all of them! They are really good. My favorite ones are with Anne as a girl and teenager and then the ones about her kids. The middle-ish ones were a little boring to me sometimes, but fine.
