Does anyone else here like to re-read books?
I like to...
I like to re-read books after a while before I read it first. Does anyone else? My brother says I'm crazy.

I don't get what you're saying...

I've taken to re-reading books. I'm re-reading the Alex Rider series right now. Next, it'll probably be either the Harry Potter series, or just Goblet of Fire and The Deathly Hallows. Over and over again. :-) I also attempted to reread The Series of Unfortunate Events, but it wasn't that interesting.

I re-read books a lot, because I almost have to. The library is pretty far away, and I can't keep buying books.

I agree with you, Katie. I read books really quickly, so buying new books all the time doesn't really work for me.

I think you probably meant after rather than before. Anyway, yes, I reread sometimes, especially HP. I honestly have no idea how many times I've read that series, but it must have been at least 6 times this schoolyear alone.

I just reread books cuz it's fun! I reread the entire Peter an the Starcatchers series about 5 zillion times just because I was bored.

I have for as long as I can remember. Some of my favorite books I've probably read 15, 20 times. . . . I do it with movies, too. My family thinks I'm kooky, too, though they have a lot of other evidence. ;) Anyway, I have a pretty bad memory, so re-reading books helps me cement their plots in my mind. You're not alone.

I reread books constantly. All the books I own I have read at least twice. The Percy Jackson and the Olympians seres I started and finished in January and I have read all of them twice now. It was great. I also read The Lost Hero a couple weeks ago and am now reading it for the third time. But after the first read I do skip the parts I don't like as much.

I forgot to mention that I first read HP 3 1/2 schoolyears ago, that would mean that if I read it about the same amount of times each year, I've read them about 40 times... And they're not even my biggest obsession. That's scary.

I need reading material, or my heart will cease to stop beating. So I reread books, any one of the millions I have, when I run out of new books. Yeah, that happens a lot.
