Chatterbox: Blab About Books

The Heros of Olympus, book 1: The Lost Hero
Has anyone ever...

Has anyone ever read this book??

Probably very few of you. Because it only came out in early [about April or March] 2010.

Though I only started it yesterday, I am on page 138, chapter 11. [It's a really good book].

The thing that surprised me most was that Piper is Aphrodite's kid! I was expecting Hera [kind of...] or Athena [because she and Annabeth are so much alike, and the fact Annabeth's boyfriend went missing as soon a Jason, Piper's supposed boyfriend showed up]. <---- Run on sentence, sorry.

I think that this is a great book! It is amazing!!

Not only is it R E A L L Y good, I have learned a lot more about Greek gods and godesses [and Roman gods a little]. I am a Greek gods fanatic so you can probably ask me anything and I might know the answer.

I can't wait to finish it!!

But- number two, The Son of Neptune, [which I think is a Roman god] comes out this fall =[!!

So what do you guys [and gals] think about the book???

Well, I better comence reading [no, FOR REAL!]

I've read it. It's pretty good. I think I like Percy Jackson better, though. :-)

My friend and I are GENIUSES at Ancient Greece! Ask me anything, I'll answer it! It's such an amazing book!! Yeah, Neptune is the Roman form of Poseidon. I don't know much about Rome, but I'm working on it! I'm mainly about Greece, seriously, ask me anything about Percy Jackson, Ancient Greece, and I have a 50% chance I'll get  a question right about the Lost Hero.

Rick Riordan is the best author ever.  Besides Ridley Pearson.  And Noel Stretfield.  ANd Heather Vogel Frederick.  And Gail Carson Levine.  And Ann M. Martin.  THey're all tied as best author ever, except Ridley Pearson, who is a smidge above the rest.  And then there's Dr. Suess... I'm babbling.

Anyway.  Piper is so cool!  Annabeth is cool, too.  I can't wait for the second one to come out!

EEK!!! I just finished this book, like today... like 5 minutes ago, and then got on Cricket and saw this thread!!!

Do you really think Percy's memory got wiped too?

NOTE ON THE NOTE: If the NOTE made you laugh, tell me, I always like to know if my jokes are funny or not. XD

I thought this book was amazing. I read it a couple weeks ago and thought it was almost better than the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series. I am pretty sure that Percy's memory got wiped. I think that makes most sense. I can hardly wait until the next book because then Percy will be in it and I aways thought he was the best character.

I have always been crazy about Greek mythology. I have been reading about it for years and I have been researching more stuff since I read these books.
