I know I know. There are 1 gazillion HP RPs out there but I always feel weird about joining because they've come very far and stuff so I've decided I'll make my own thread. I'm not going to create a person yet. Oh and one question: Potter Era, Marauder's or Next Generation?

NextGen. :) I love NextGen. I call dibs on Albus and Scorpius! And here is a completely new character:
Name: Rolanda Smithson.
Age: 13
Year: 3rd.
Blood status: Half-blood.
Pet: A Great Gray owl named Stormy.
Siblings: None.
Best friends: Albus Potter, Scorpius Malfoy, James Potter, Lily Potter, Rose Weasley, Hugo Weasley.
Worst enemies: Anybody from Slytherin (except for Scorpius, who is only in Slytherin because he was afraid his dad wouldn't like it if he wasn't), and this one puffed-up know-it-all boy in Ravenclaw called Samuel Smithson--no relation whatsoever! (Anybody who wants him is welcome to him, and welcome to make up the description.)
Personality: Aloof around people she doesn't know, but very kind and friendly once you get to know her. Very good sense of humor--sometimes a little sarcastic. Very loyal and intelligent.
House: Ravenclaw.
Hair color: Black.
Eyes: Black.
Three trivia facts: 1) She is distantly related to Hermionie. Hermionie never knew it, but her second cousin who lived in the US during his schooling years is a wizard. He married an English Muggle and moved to England, and had Rolanda. 2) Her dream job is to breed crups. 3) Her father owns a black hippogriff named Stormflight, so she is very skilled at riding hippogriffs.
She is also on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, as a Seeker.

Worst Enemies: Slytherins, An annoying boy from Gryffindor named Eric Walker who teases her about her mother
Personallity: Shy but Smart, she's sometimes pushed around because people think she's odd. But people who are close to her know she's a TOTALLY different person.
House: Ravenclaw( Then we can socialize better)
Hair Color: Light Blond (Like her mother)
Eye Color: Piercing Blue
Trivia Facts: Has an odd conection with animals (can understand their feelings and stuff), Chaser on the Quiditch Team, Favorite Class is Transfiguration, Loathes Divination, Wants to be an auror like the famous Harry Potter.

Luna Lovegood's daughter cannot have the last name Lovegood. She would have the last name of her father, Rolf Scamander. Actually, a daughter of Luna Lovegood cannot exist at all in a canon-compliant universe, as the only children she has are two sons, Lorcan and Lysander. (I didn't come up with the bizarre names; blame JKR.)

Three trivia facts: 1) Has known the Potter's since a baby, so spends a lot of time with them during the break. 2) Skilled on the broom, her dad jokes that she was born on one. 3) Has a scar on her forehead from ______, but hides it with her hair.

Victoire stood with her mother and father on platform 9 3/4. She gave them each a kiss. " Now have a good year," Charlie said. "A bien tot, ma chere." Victoire's mother kissed her on the forehead."Have a good school year!" they yelled in unison." Victoire entered the train walking down the halls until she found an empty where one other little blond haired girl sat. She walked in. "May I?" The girl nodded and Victoire sat down.

Oh, right, he did die. I feel embarrased now...
I let go of my mom's fingers and ran up to Lily and the Potters. "Lily! I haven't seen you in forevers!" She grabbed my arms and dragged us away from her dad to talk. All of the other witches and wizards on the platform were pointing at Harry and Ginny, "Shh, I don't want to be known as the daughter of Harry Potter!" Her dad and my dad started talking, and my mom and Mrs. Potter started talking. "Come on, he's a legend!" "But, what if no one wants to be my friend because they're scared? You'll be my only friend, except for the people that James is friends with. And they're all older and James keeps on flirting with them." We laughed and walked back with our parents. They let us go, Albus and Rose went through first, they were starting their second year. James went in next, then Hugo, me and Lily went through. My little brother was moaning, and I laughed as we entered the platform. The crimson red train chugged along, almost ready to leave. "Come on, we're late!" Lily and I grabbed our carry on bags and charged onto the train, stepping on just as it lurched into motion. "Now where to sit..." I past Slytherins, Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws, and finally we went towards where most of the Gryffindors tended to sit. We found a fairly empty compartment, Victoire Weasley was already sitting there, with another blond haired girl. Victoire hadn't noticed us yet, but the blond haired girl did. "Hi." She said, with a little wave. "Victoire!" Lily and I both yelled. "Oh my gosh, you guys are here!" She jumped up and hugged us, and we sat down.

I watched the girls chat and chat... on and on. Suddenly they noticed I existed. The girl sitting next to me smiled. "Oh! Hi! I'm Selina! And you? Which house are you in? I'm in Gryffindor." "Hi." The other two girls had stopped chatting. "I'm Abigail but I like to be called Abby. I'm in Ravenclaw. It's my 2nd year here. I still can't believe that this exists..." I sighed. The girl sitting next to Victoire smiled. She looked oddly similar to Victoire. "Are you related?" I asked.

"Hey," I said, quietly. "Can I come in? Only the Slytherins are being unbearable. Again."
"Sure!" Lily said, with a welcoming smile. "Come on in, Scor!" All the other girls' eyes, however, flickered to the green and silver badge pinned to my robes.
"You're a Slytherin!" said a blond-haired girl, accusingly.
Oh, drat, not again. "No I'm not-I mean, yes, well, I am," I sighed. "But it's not willingly, I assure you. It's because I'm afraid of what my father would do to me if I wasn't in Slytherin. I'm a Malfoy, and our whole family has been in Slytherin."
Reluctantly, the blond-haired girl nodded and let me in. Lily smiled and Victorie gave me a friendly nod. The other girls were still glaring at me, however. Mentioning that I was a Malfoy had not been a good move.
I sighed. Was this never going to end?
~Albus~
I was busy looking for a compartment that didn't have people who would go, "Oooh, look! It's Harry Potter's son!" "Where?! Where?!" That can get very tiring after a while.
Finally, I found one with Scorpius, Lily, and Victorie. I recognized a couple of Lily and Victorie's friends vaguely.
"Hi, guys," I said. Seeing that Scorpius looked uncomfortable-the seats next to Lily and Victorie were filled-I plunked down next to him.
"Hey, Scor," I grinned.
"Hey."

Abigail-
I looked at Scor sitting next to me. I should've been nicer. Maybe it was true that he wasn't mean. Maybe I should give him a chance but I still wasn't keen on Slytherins. Ever since one had basically broken everything I had in my body last year well.... I looked at him. "So, are you a 2nd year?" "Yes(He is right?)." I looked into his dark eyes. They seemed almost sad. "I-I'm sorry. I mean... yeah well I mean you're a..." I trailed off. "Yeah,I know. He seemed to loosen up a bit.
Victoire-
I looked at Scor. Scorpius Malfoy, son of a son of a death eater. He seemed so stiff and quiet. I felt someone tapping on my shoulder. "We're almost there!" Lilly cried joyfully. Selina looked t Abigail. "Such a shame that you aren't in my house." "Oh, we'll see each other enough!" All of us looked out the window trying to find the towers of Hogwarts in the countryside.

@Elizabeth: Actually, I'm imagining him as a third year. He's thirteen, and so am I (just turned thirteen! SQUEEE!), so it's easy to handle. Plus, I'm making Rolanda be thirteen, and it's easier to remember their ages if they're all the same. Did that make sense? :S

"I'm Abigail," said the blond girl. "Sorry about the rude welcome. It's just that a Slytherin beat me up really badly last year."
I frowned. "What did he look like?"
"Oh, fifth year, sandy blond hair, brown eyes, HUGE muscles," I said. "Why?"
I groaned. "That would be Decrio Crown," I answered. "He's in my house, a fifth year-well, sixth year now-and an absolute monster. Right, Albus?"
"Yeah," Albus said, fervently. "He keeps Cruciating my brother James. Problem is, we can never catch him at it. He just Cruciates him and runs."
~Rolanda~
"Are you talking about Decrio?" I asked, sitting down beside Albus. "He ought to be expelled."
The blond-haired girl who Scorpius had been talking to looked scared. Victorie started to comfort her immediately. "Don't worry, Decrio's a big bully, but he won't really bother you unless he has something against you."
"He's got something against James," I muttered. "James played a prank on him in their first year-something about taking his books and jinxing them all to say 'Decrio Crown's a big fat clown' every time he opened them."
Lily stifled a snort of laughter. Another girl-Selina Snips, I thought she was-burst out in hysterics. Pretty soon everybody was laughing away, and the tenseness of having a Slytherin in the car was forgotten.
Suddenly James stuck his head through the compartment door. "Hey, everybody!" he called. "We're here!"
