Galadriel-

Galadriel's mother woke her up. "Galadriel! Get on a dress and grab a few belongings. He's coming. Flee with Alquariel!" she said. "But you? Where are you going?" "I will stay with your father." Galadriel's heart sank and a tear rolled down her cheek. Arwen kissed her on the forehead and hugged her tightly. "I will come for you. Quickly!" I pulled on my dress and packed a bag. I met Alquariel in the hall. She gave me a sword and we were off.

Can I join? I can't post often, but I will post!

Here are my Charries:

Name(s)- Aeroniell (eye-rohn-nee-ell) and Earyende (ay-are-yehn-day)

Age- Both are 17, they were born on May 13.

Description- Average-sized twin girls with long flowing yellow hair. Earyende has blue -gray eyes like the sea in the winter, and Aeroniell has bright sapphire eyes like the sea on a hot summer day.

Personalities- Earyende is very quiet, and keeps mostly to herself. Aeroniell is spunky and outgoing.

Other- Daughters of Eowyn and Faramir, they oficially live at Minas Tirith, But spend most of their time in Rohan, at the Golden Hall of their beloved uncle, Eomer, son of Eomund, and King of Rohan. Earyende can hear a pin drop in a noisy pub a mile away, and Aeroniell can spot it through the walls. When they're together its even more acute and they can share eachothers feelings and thoughts.

//Earyende//

I stood at the balcony of the Golden Hall of Rohan in the moonlight, the wind blowing my hair back. The wind in the grass and the distant call of a bird were my only companions. But wait, they weren't. On the edge of my range I could just pick up the sound of two horses galoping full speed towards me. I opened my eyes and looked hard in the direction it came from, though I knew well I wouldn't be able to see them.

"Aeroniell!" I shouted.

"Hmm? What?" she replied groggily, siting up in bed

"I need you to tell me if you can see two horses riding in from the direction of Minas Tirith."

She fell silent. Then after a few seconds she gasped, "Yes! They carry our dear friends, Galandriel and Eldarion! And another is beside them, riding silently, an Even woman.

Why would they be coming to Rohan?

Galadriel-

I looked up at the turrets of Rohan. We were coming closer and hopefully farther away from Nalhun(did I spell that right?) "Alquariel, we're almost there!" I exclaimed. She nodded. "This visit is a little earlier than I expected... Well..." We came to the doors of Rohan and stated our purpose to some guards. Our horses were brought to the stable and Eldarion helped me down. "Thank You." "I must speak with the king." He told us. We walked to where two elven maidens stood. Their eyes were beautiful and full of knowledge and sadness. We bowed. They looked exactly the same. Twins. "Hello. I am Aeroniel and this is my sister Earyende." WE bowed again

Umm... Aeroniell and Earyende aren't elves, they're just gifted humans. Sorry if I didn't make that very clear. Also, since they officialy live at Minas Tirith, and their parents are so important, they would be friends with Galandrial and Eldarion.

( sorry, I'm a detail freak XD )

//Aeroniell//

As soon as I saw them, I started bombarding them with questions. Eldarion and Galandriel were used to it by now, but the elf maiden with them was not.

"Eldarion, Galandriel, what are you doing here? Whats going on? And why aren't Queen Arwen and King Aragorn here? Were you attacked? Is-"

"Let them settle in first!" Earyende interjected, "They just got here!"

"Its all right, I'm sure she just wanted to clarify." Said the elf.

I saw Galandriel share a meaninful glance with my sister but they let it pass.

"Well then," I said, "I'll get you some rooms, you can explain in the morning."

With that I turned on my heel and marched out of the stables. I could see Aeronel rolling her eyes.

Sorry!! I knew that!! Forgot!! Sorry!! Sorry!! Ok, Ok... Hehe XD

Galadriel--

I woke up the moon shining into my bedroom. Night. It was so still. I missed Mother and Father. I hadn't slept well at all. I needed someone to talk to. I crept out of bed and walked down the stairs. My feet padded down the golden hall and I walked out the doors feeling the wind blow my hair. I sighed. I heard a door open and I quickly hid myself behind a pillar. "Hello? Anyone here?" I heard Aeroniel's voice say. "Yes," I walked out of my hiding place. "I'm sorry. You scared me." Aeroniel smiled in the dim light. "Why are you here?" She asked inquiringly. "Nalhun(I think that's the name) he came and and... Well we had to flee. Mother was going to stay with Father. I don't know how dangerous it was but we had to go." I felt a huge lump well up in my throat. Had it been a mistake to leave my parents? "What about the Elven maiden?" Aeroniel's voice broke into my thoughts. "Alquariel. She was planning to visit here but had decided to stop at Minas Tirith first. Oh, I believe it was a mistake to leave mother in father!" I covered my face with my hands. I felt Aeroniel's arm wrap around me.

Sorry guys, sorry, but I may have to quit.

1) Celeborn passed into the west after Galadriel. Duh, thought u knew that!!! Not killed by evil Orc person!

2)- Lothlorien did not burn. Tolkien specifically says that it lingered on after all its folk were gone.

3) The nazgul can not be summoned. They are gone. They existed only as long as the Nine Rings did, and when those were destroyed with Sauron, so were the Nazgul. Also, no more Morgul knives! Please- this is Fourth-age Gondor! We are talking peace and prosperity, not war! Sauron is GONE1!!!

Very sorry to quit, but those things just infuriated me.

Another thing- sorry to say this, but I may not come back to the CB at all. Maybe.- I'm still thinking.

It's called AU. Alternate Universe. It's called "playing with the possibilities." That's one of the best things about fanfic: You can explore alternate possibilities. You aren't bound by canon. (Canon which, in any case, you cannot expect all to have detailed knowledge of; Elizabeth did say that she had not read the books.)

And another point: Peace and prosperity are just not interesting to read about. To quote the Great Professor: "I of course discovered that the King's Peace would contain no tales worth recounting; and his wars would have little interest after the overthrow of Sauron". (The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien, ed. Humphrey Carpenter, Letter 338) He also speaks in Letter 256 of how "sinister and depressing" his attempts at events after the Downfall of Mordor became.

And say what you like, but Nick's bit was the most interesting and well-written section of this fic.

You have every right to leave this RP if you do not like the direction it is taking. I hope, however, that you do not leave this site over such a little thing.

Thank you. *bows* *exits, pursued by a bear*

That was like a speech. LOL. I'm writing from what I've seen in the movies. I swear I can quote them. I think it's kind of cool to have unexpected things happen that didn't happen in the books/movies.

The great thing about book-based RPs is all the rules of making it fit in with the previous books get thrown out. This is not the next chapter, it doesn't have to be 100% perfect. I mean, we could make Aragorn get eaten by a giant toad and it wouldn't matter! (not that I would do that...)

aka, PLEASE DON'T LEAVE MATTIE!!!

Sigh.....I hate to leave. Yes, peace and prosperity are not interesting to write about, ZNZ. That is why I simply cannot understand why we have to do this time period. What about near the downfall of Numenor?  Also when you're doing an RP I think you should respect the author's (i.e., JRRT) wishes. There is a chronology in the back of the return of the King.   But I will say, Nick, what a well written story . Very descriptive.

I might stay...

Oh, I was going to say. I noticed in an older HP RP that you guys put Albus in Ravenclaw. I mean that isn't exactly sticking to the book, right?
