Love this book. She is such an excellent writer. I also love "The Goose Girl" and the rest of that series.
Oh. Calamity Jack was really good too! What can I say? I'm a sucker for a good fairytale!

I haven't read it. I actually never knew it was by Shannon Hale until I came on here. Has anyone here read Princess Academy?

ME TOO!!!! Personally, I was not impressed by Calamity Jack. The ending was awful. They died. At least it looked like it was going to end up that way. The ant people thing was soooo weird. And Jack's mother hardly came in at all. I loved the pixies though. Prudence was terrific. And pretty.

Ah, once again, I owe you all a thousand thank-yous, and once again, I am so very thankful for the CB. I read Goose Girl and The Princess Academy and simple adored them. I plan to read all of her books eventually!
