So You Want To Be A Wizard (for the book club)

Here's the thread for discussing So You Want To Be A Wizard! To save time, I'm going to assume everyone has it read by the 27th. That's a week to find it and 2 to read it. Anyone who doesn't have it done by then should say so as soon as they realize that they won't, and I'll revise the deadline Unless everyone knows they won't need so long to read it. I sometimes have trouble figuring out how long people will take, because I myself can read over 300 pages on any given day, which isn't as long as most people would take. I could have everyone post when they're done, but not everyone who joined the book club will read this book, so I'm doing it this way. I don't think SYWtbaW is very long...

(I'll top this thread in a moment) There are available copies in the library so I should have it by Saturday. *sigh* I just posted on the Anne of Green Gables thread in PP that I might read it, and that I would also read Maximum Ride #2. Now I also have to read this. Oops. Oh, and I'd probably be able to read 300 pages in about a week or so, depending on how good the book is, since I have a birthday party on Sunday, I won't get the book until Saturday, and I have camp on the weekdays.

I got this book as an audiobook many years ago and we listened to it in the car. I got really freaked out by it and my parents didn't like it at all so we ended up getting rid of it. I'm willing to try it again, so I'll get it ASAP.

I have given up on SYWtbaW. Sorry. It isn't really the type of book I would read, and isn't really that good of a plot. Sorry. I'll join you guys on the next book though.

Oh dear, sorry guys... I just realized that I won't be able to get the book and read it in time because I am away from home and will be taking a plane back home on the 29th. We drove out here, so we have a lot of stuff that all needs to go on the plane and I don't think I'd have room for the book if I were to buy it. I'll join in next time, and I might still have a faint memory of the beginning to discuss. This also may not be set in stone, but I just want you to know that I may just have to join in on the next book. Sorry!!
