Can we try not to make such sweeping generalisations? You haven't read books by ever writer in the whole world, and for all you know there may be an author out there that you would like much more than him. I can see what you mean -- he is your favourite writer. But can you say that instead? 

Also, I am deeply frightened by your overuse of the humble exclamation point. Let's try to keep it to one or two, shall we?

Although he is not my favorite writer, I love his books, too, and also wish that I could meet him. In fact, he lives in my state, which makes me all the more wistful.

Oh my gosh, Person!!!!!!!! I totally agree with you!!!!!!!!!! He is really awesome and creative and I just read The Red Pyramid and it is awesome and it is one of the best books ever and- *takes deep breath, panting*

Ooh! I just learned he's writing a new series called The Heroes of Olympus! It sounds like it might be somehow related to PJatO, possibly with bits about that mysterious prophecy at the end (pure speculation, of course)! The first book is called The Lost Hero, and it'll be out in October! Yay!
