I know there are other book club threads but I wanted to start my own! If you want to join just shout out!!
Here we can talk about books, suggest books, and many other things!! Please join, it will be fun!! Once we figure out everything and talk about books a lot and we have a lot of members I'll start another thread (with all the other members) and then we'll have more experience. It'll be easier!!

Vida, I think starting your own while knowing there are other book club threads already, is a tad inconsiderate.
First off, members from other book clubs might leave their clubs for yours. That will make the starters/owners sad because their thread will be dying.
No offense or anything, but I'm just saying.

Yes, I agree with Not Required. And we ARE different people. My statement being, why make a new thread if there already is one for that exact purpose.

I agree with NR, ZNZ, and Anonymous, but I'm going to join anyway (even though it's quite hypocritical of me), just because I know I have time for 2, and I think book clubs are so fun that I'm willing to ignore my morals for now.

My question to everyone who has not joined is WHY??!! If I were you and I loved reading a disscussing books I would be in as many as I could be in! Being in a book club even if your already in one is not being inconsiderate or betraying your other book club! Plus, no-one is gonna be mad because you join more than one!

I agree that it's fine to be in more than one book club if you have the time to read the books at the pace of the club. Some Chatterboxers may be in only one club (or none) because that's all the time they have.

Should we read books or just talk about books that we have already read?

Whichever you and the others prefer, Vida. The other book club was formed to have members read the same book, then discuss it. So this second one could be like that or different. Chatterbox is for you Chatterboxers to express yourselves.
Actually, Blab About Books could be considered a "club." It's the place we've created for people to discuss books.

Good point, Admin! In that case, maybe we could just make this a little mini book discussion place? We've had a few before. And maybe we could not make people join in order to participate? And maybe we could make this a seperate thread to actually do it, so that people who aren't interested in doing what an ordinary book club would can still do this? Just suggestions; we don't have to use them.
They all sound like good suggestions to me!

Both. Multi=special. I like both. So, 4 a book 2 read and a suggestion, I think one of the Dear America diary kinda books is good. They're not moony, like omg Jacob is sooo cute this year but real life situations.
