Chatterbox: Blab About Books

The Shadow Children Series
Has anybody heard...

Has anybody heard of or read the Shadow Children Series? I just finished reading the third one, Among the Betrayed. For those who don't know, this series is about third children living in a society where only 2 children are allowed and the fight to make third children legal. It is such a good series and if anyone  hasn't read it go down to the library or bookstore now and get it.

I only read the first book, and personally, I absolutely hated it. But my best friend has read them all twice and thinks they're amazing, so I guess it's just a matter of opinion. :)

Can someone give me a quick and simple synopsis of what actually happens during the rest of the series?

So pretty much in the rest of the series (as far as I've read) WARNING: SPOILER [book 2]  Luke gets a false I.D. as Lee Grant, a baron who died in a skiing accident. He goes to a special school for third-children who have false I.Ds. Lee meets a girl named Nina who is also a third child. A boy named Jason tries to turn them in to the population police. [book 3] Nina gets jailed by the population police for not turning in the third children earlier. She gets put in a cell whith 3 other third children. She is told to spy on them. They trust her. She does not want to turn them in. They escape. They go back to her school and Jen Talbot's father turns out to be a double a gent working for the resistance.

That's all I've read so far. Sorry that it's not a very good summary.
