Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Night
Anyone read this?...

Anyone read this? (Well, I know TNO has, but other than that :D) It's a true account of the Holocaust from the point of view of a 14-year-old boy. Terribly depressing, but also very eye-opening at the same time. It's on my favorites list. So, yeah. Has anyone else read/heard/hallucinated this?

Yes, I read this. I thought it was depressing when I read it about two years ago, but I'm meaning to read it again over the summer. Right now I have it confused with "I Am David", I think...

Must get back to you on this.

Hm, I've never read "I Am David". "Night" is about a Jewish boy who gets moved through numerous different concentration camps when he's about our age. His Dad dies too :'( But it's one of those books that even though you don't want to hear what happens next, you can't stand not knowing... :D

Right right. I remember this now. I guess my dad actually owns it. Probably tucked away in some far corner somewhere...

Definitely on my "To Read This Summer" list.

I think you might like I Am David, judging from what you've said on here you've read.
