Comics, anyone?
I haven't seen...

I haven't seen any threads about comics, and if there are, i guess i wasn't looking hard enough.

My fave comics are Archie, Jughead etc. Sonic the Hedgehog, Garfield, and Peanuts.

I also enjoy Calvin and Hobbes, Haggar the Horrible and Mickey Mouse.

back to the Blab about Books

I'm not a HUGE comic reader, but i do enjoy the occasional comic book. I like Archie comics (all and any), Calvin and Hobbes, and Tintin. They would have to be my favorite. A while ago i was exploring our attic and i came across a box of my mom's old comics. you know, spiderman, superman, the lone ranger. Those types of comics. I think i read the entire box in two days. :)

I like Dilbert, and since I'm half French, I read TinTin in French and also Asterix and Lucky Luke. But my favorites are Archie and Asterix.

I love Calvin and Hobbes. I also love Asterix, although I can't read French. I can't speak French beyond "L'elephant bleu est sur la table. L'elephant bleu c'est plus grande que la souris vert." I read the translations by Anthea Bell (the one who translates Cornelia Funke's books) and ... um ... some other guy. They are so punny it's hard to believe they weren't first written in English.

Garfield. Peanuts. Tintin (YES! Other people love them too!). Calvin and Hobbes. I tried to read some old Spiderman comics once, but my dad wouldn't let me. He said I had to read them with my little brother, who was about two or three at the time, so I don't think he would have cared much...

Also, I read one Archie comic, and thought it was quite good.

I also like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, etc.

I heard the Garfield comics were good. Those are one of my favorite!

Foxtrot is unquestionably my favorite.  Bar none.  Also like Non Sequitor, The Far Side, and sometimes Zits.
