He's all chick-lit type stuff, so not really my thing, but my friends and I saw The Last Song. I didn't like the ending (they tried to make it happy; it should have stayed sad), but all the actors (with the possible exception of Miley) were really good and it was a very pretty storyline. Ending aside I rather liked the movie.

I read the first few chapters of the book, also. It was kind of meh and cliche, but, you know. Sweet.
