Hello! My name...

Hello! My name is Sarah, daughter of Athene! Who wants to do RP with me, to get our minds off of the Warriors debate!

"Congrats Liz!" said Anna, "Ares is a cool father." (that's what I hear) ;-)

I'm gonna try PJ style.

I went to the Big House to pester Chiron about getting a quest, as I do when I'm in a bad mood. "Okay, okay fine! I need to speak with Poseidon. I need to make sure that my theory is right about him claiming Percy. Go and speak with the Oracle." I ran into the Big House and up to the attic. A bunch of mementos were scattered everywhere: Gorgon heads; monster parts; and something in a jar that I had no idea what it was but it smelled really bad! There, on a three-legged stool, sat a mummy, the Oracle. I asked, "I need to know why Poseidon claimed Percy!" I yelled, not really expecting an answer. Then, a snake like mist poured out of the mummy's mouth. It whispered a prophecy, One shall go east to meet the Sea God. When she returns only one shall applaud. She will come home as a different person. For she did not listen to reason. The snake thing coiled back into the mummy, and I was so scared I could hardly move. I got that I needed to see Poseidon, the Sea God. But only one should applaud? I kinda got that, because the quest wasn't big and powerful, but what did it mean that I would return as a different person? And I always listen to reason!! I returned to the porch and Chiron asked me to recite the prophecy. I did so, and Chiron looked at me with one of those faces like, I never should have told you to go there! Or something like that. It really made me feel bad. "You should take one person. Who do you chose?" That really got me thinking. Should I chose an Ares kid, for protection? Or what about an Apollo child, for healing wounds? Maybe I should chose an Athena camper, for battle strategy? No, I already have that. I decided to take an Apollo child. They would be good with healing, and fighting. I walked to Cabin #7, and called in Lee Fletcher. I told him about the quest, and he decided to go. Argus (is that his name, I forgot) drove the cab to downtown Manhattan and we argued at where to start the quest. I thought that we should start in the forest, because after the forest is the ocean, and that's where we have to be. But Lee wanted to start in an open area so he can see his dad's chariot. I told him that wouldn't matter, that we could come back to camp watching his dad. He finally decided to come into the forest. We trekked for about an hour, when a Minotaur jumped out at us. I opened up my sword and shield and we started to fight. Lee was going down, 'cause he could only shoot long distance. He couldn't shoot up close. Then, all of a sudden, a gang of young girls jumped out and started to hit the Minotaur, with arrows and knives. Lee and I were too stunned to fight any longer, we just stood their like idiots. Then, when the Minotaur was good and dead, the oldest one stepped forward. She had auburn hair and freckles. "I am Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt. Ladies, set up camp." The girls ran around setting up 7-8 tents. "Sarah," Artemis said, "may I speak with you?" "O-Of course, Lady Artemis!" Artemis led me to a tent, and they went inside. "What is it, Lady Artemis?" "Would you like to join the Hunt?" "Uh, yes! Of course! I would be honored!" "Then recite this oath," Artemis recited the oath, and I repeated it. Artemis looked at me, and said, "I accept the oath. You are now a Hunter." I found a bow slung over her shoulder, and I felt like a burden was taken off her shoulders. "How do you feel?" She asked. "I feel younger." "That is the immortal part." "Lady Artemis, do I get to finish my quest?" "Of course. But you must return to these woods immediately afterward." "Thank you! I must IM Chiron." I walked out of the tent, and to a pool and the edge of the clearing. "Chiron!" I yelled, "I'm a Hunter down. I'll be returning to camp, but then I'll be leaving."

Lily spent the rest of the day trying out horseback riding and sword fighting with her new siblings. They were okay, a little crazy, but they were her kind of people. She realized that she hadn't seen Sarah all day, and decided to look for her. After searching the entire camp, she decided to ask Chiron. "She has joined the Hunt," he said. "Now she will live forever."

I took my new bow and said good-bye to my new sisters. "I'll see you soon!" I led Lee into the forest and suddenly got an idea. "Hey, we don't have to find Poseidon! We can just IM him!" I led him to a spring and dug out a golden drachma out of my pocket. "Hey, Lee, can you do like, I don't know, bend the sun or something to make us a rainbow?" He closed his eyes, chanted something in ancient Greek, did something with his hands, and soon the sun was coming through the thick tree branches and making a rainbow. "O Iris, Goddess of the rainbow. Show us Poseidon." The mist shimmered, and soon we saw a middle aged guy, Hawaiian T-Shirt, khaki pants, and a glowing sea green trident appeared. "Oh, Lord Poseidon. We are on a quest from Chiron. He would like to know why you claimed Percy Jackson." He turned toward us, apparently surprised to see two teenagers in his underwater palace. The he told us his reason (I can't remember it) and told us that he would contact Chiron, and we could go. "Okay, thank you Lord Poseidon." I waved my hand, and he was gone. "Come on Lee." "Okay, but now we go through the city!" "Fine, but let's rest first. "I found two small tents in my backpack, that I had no idea how they got there. "I'll set up camp. You get us some food." By the time the moon was out, we got a two small rabbits, and got two good tents set up, plenty of fresh water, and a nice fire out. "Tow the gods!" We said as we raised out paper cups. We went to bed at about midnight, and we woke up at about 8 in the morning. "Let's get home!" I said as we trekked through the busy streets of downtown Manhattan. I saw Argus first, and I dashed towards him. I was faster than I was before, but it was just the Hunter thing. Soon we were at camp, and I realized what the prophecy meant. Only one applauded, because that was when Percy, Annabeth, and Grover were leaving. I came home as a Hunter, and apparently I didn't listen to reason. I don't know what that means, but I think that's when Lee told me all the bad parts about being a Hunter before I was sworn in.

(If your a daughter of Poseidon and Athena wouldn't you be a god? And what cabin would you be in? And Poseidon and Athena like, hate each other?)

I walked from the lake to the Hermes cabin feeling as bad as ever. Why can't my mom just claim me? I thought. Suddenly, I heard a noise. I instinctively took out my hair clip, the one that turns into a sword. "Who's there?" I yelled nervously. It turned out to just be an owl, and I was starting to get scared. That same owl has been following me all day now. I ran towards the Big House to tell Chiron about it. "Why, Katie! I believe that you have just been claimed! What color was this owl?" "It was gray. Do you mean that I'm an Athena child?" "Yes indeed! I will escort you to cabin number 6 and you will move in immediately." I was so excited, but I managed to walk to the Hermes cabin, get my stuff, and claim a bunk next to the overflowing bookshelf in the Athena cabin without jumping, screaming, and breaking everything. Annabeth was sitting on a desk and 1/2 looking at me and 1/2 'reading' an architecture book. She looked at me like I just pierced her with a dozen knives. "What? What did I do?" "Oh, nothing. It's just that that was Sarah's bunk, and she just left, and she was like, one of my really really good friends." She started to sniffle, but I stopped it. "Oh, I'll move if you want me to!" I started to collect my things and move when she said, "No, you can sleep there." After that, we went to Master's Archery Class with Chiron and sat together at dinner.

She went over to the Hermes cabin and sat down on a bunk. When would her father or mother claim her? Her deep green, almost blue, eyes rested on the Poseidon cabin, then onto the Aphrodite cabin, where Rubylia was hanging some beautiful red roses on the railing and the roof.

I tried to get the last drip of water from the lake out of my hair. Some of the Hermes kids thought it would be nice to say good-bye by pushing me in the lake. I stayed in there for at least 2 and a half minutes. That's probably because Athena's uncle is Poseidon. I thought. I heard a rustle in the woods, and this was definitely bigger than the owl. A giant scorpion shot out of the woods and lunged at me. I took out my hairclip, and soon  it grew into 3 feet of deathly celestial bronze. I swiped at it, but it still managed to sting me. My vision got fuzzy, my body was on fire, and the last thing I saw was some satyrs picking me up and getting me to Chiron.

I finally woke up and was sitting on the Big House porch. A glass of nectar was sitting on the table and Mr. D and Chiron were playing pinochle. "How are you feeling, Katie?" Chiron asked. "Terrible. My whole body is on fire!" I tried to stand up, but fell flat on my face and puked. "Great," mumbled Mr. D "Now I have to get up, find someone to clean that up, walk to them, convince them, walk back here, and try to resume by game." He got up, but then decided not to and told a satyr he was playing with to clean it. "How ya feeling?" He asked. It was Adonis, one of older satyrs. "Terrible. Can you help me up?" He picked me up and put me on my chair. "Chiron, when can I start training again?" "Katie, I'm afraid that won't be for a while. That was a pretty bad sting. I'm sorry. But someone sent you a t-shirt, though I don't know how she got it, for the camp store is closed." There was a new Camp Half-Blood shirt on the table. It was from Sam, the one person who liked her in the Hermes cabin.

I'm a dryad, my name is Xandra, and I have only a few minutes to write this. I've been trapped in a dank dungeon with slime dripping from its repugnant walls by the malignant demigod, Jonathan O'Keefe. Help me!!

(May 8, 2010 - 11:02 pm)

I awoke with a start. In my dream, I saw a dryad in a dungeon. She was pleading for help to a young demigod, one that I've known for a while. He was one of the undetermined kids, who was never determined for as long as he was there, and that was for 8 years. Anyway, he was standing outside of a cell, like a jail cell. It was in Alcatraz, in San Francisco. The dryad was sitting on the floor, with weird stuff oozing from the walls. I told all of this to Chiron, and asked him for a quest. He finally agreed, and I went to see the Oracle. (I can't think of a prophecy) "You may chose two friends to go with you, can you may set off at once!" I asked Rubylia and Lily if they could come.

"Oh my gosh! Really, Sam? Thanks! I would love to go with you! My first quest!!" Rubylia exclaimed happily. Oceanus glared at her with her blue eyes, then smiled. "You're lucky; I wish you luck! You'll need it." Rubylia was about to ask her what she meant, but Oceanus was already walking away towards the pegasus stables.

"Lily, since your not replying, I guess that I have to choose someone else." Who would be good to take on a quest to San Francisco? I thought. "Katie, would you like to come?"

I looked up from my book and looked at Sam in surprise. "Me? Go with you? On a quest? To San Francisco! Why would you want me?"

"Well, you're one of my friends. You're the daughter of wisdom, battle, and plotting. You could go a long way." I went to my cabin to pack my stuff. Twenty golden drachmas, 50 dollars, toiletries, camp necklace, sleeping bag, an extra pair of cloths, all stuffed inside a magic blue backpack, the one that my dad had given me for my 13 birthday. I gave some duffel bags to Rubylia and Katie, and waited for them on the hill.

What will I pack?? I thought as I searched franticly in my new cabin. I grabbed an extra pair of clothes, toiletries, sleeping bag, 2 of my fave Greek books, my hair clip sword, and the note my dad sent me, with his picture. It was of him and me, with his honey blond hair, great smile, and that freckled face, his glasses falling off his nose, and me dragging him to the Washington Monument. It was 3 years ago, when I didn't know who I really was. My step-mom took the picture, and I was glad. I hated her. She blamed me for who I was, and kicked me out of the house after 2 weeks of monsters. Anyway, I put them all in my duffel bag, and went to meet Sam. I was secretly hoping we could stop and see my dad. He lived in Oklahoma, so we might have to stop there to get to California. I looked back at Camp Half-Blood. My home, and the only place I had to go to when I needed help. It was my life force, practically.
