Sharpclaw, this is Wavekit and Maplekit." "Hi there!" he exclaimed. "Carrying on with our tour, Sharpclaw, can we peek inside the warrior's den?" "Okay, but just this once!" "Cool! Let's go. Silverclaw and Sandflower are sleeping in there. "Not anymore." Sandflower mumbled. "You must be the newest kits." "Yup, this is Maplekit, and Wavekit." "Hello!!" "Let's go to the med. cat's den!" They raced towards the den, and Shadowsoul padded out with a mouthful of herbs. "Who's that go to?" Maplekit asked. "Your mother. It's for her milk supply. Featherwhisker's inside, if you want to see him." "Okay, thanks Shadowsoul." They ran into the den and ran into Featherwhisker. "Hi Featherwhisker! This is Maplekit and Wavekit." " Hello there! "Sandflower, what can we do now? Can we go hunting? What about a border patrol?" Blossompaw walked up to Sandflower as Whitepaw walked towards Sharpclaw. "What about me, Sharpclaw? What are we going to do?" "Well, let's go hunting. We can see if Sandflower, Blossompaw, and Redfern can come, too." They walked over to Blossompaw, Redfern, and Sandflower to talk about the patrol. Blueleaf walked to Featherwhisker, "When will my legs be better, Featherwhisker?" she asked. "They should be fine, you can move into the warriors den and go on patrols, but tell right away once it starts to hurt." "Yes, thank you so much! Everstar, can I be deputy again?"

A strange cat entered the WhisperClan, the tom-cat appeared at ease among the Clan cats. His pelt was deep midnight black with whispers of fire-like fur throughout his pelt. He padded up to Everstar and she was shocked to see that his eyes were blood red, his black pupils standing out sharply.

"Greetings Everstar," he meowed, bowing his head respectfully. "I am Firewhisper and I come from distant shores with Clans much like your own. I love my home Clan, EchoClan, but I have found that under their new leader, Clearstar, they have become less like the Clan I have grown up in. I wish to join your Clan of whispers so that I may fulfill my destiny as a warrior." he looked up into Everstar's eyes. "Please," he whispered, "I have nowhere else to go. I swear by Starclan that I will be loyal through my dying breath."

Everstar was shocked by what he had said, but, all in all, she stragneley trusted this new cat.

"All right, Firewhisper, you may come into Whisperclan, but you will be watched closely and for the time being, you are not permitted to go outside the camp without a warrior or apprentice escort." She nodded in satisfaction and bounded towards her den.
